Nana assisted me with two projects - a resale home purchase in 2013 and again with a brand new home this year. She did a great job on both projects. Each were very different. In the existing home it was dated and we installed new flooring, entertainment/home theater framing and master bath redesign/upgrade. In the brand-new home we worked on custom paint coordinating, furniture selection, window covering and more. Much more a blank slate. I'm very happy with how it came out. Nana is absolutely talented! She designed my hair salon into totally different place! Very modern and gorgeous! Redone from bottom to top! We hired Nana to design our newly bought home but it was a big mistake, such a rip off. She had us sign a contract so we did Sign it base on trust. She got 2 checks for $1000 each just showed us basic changes almost no difference from what we have, so my husband snd i didn't like her design and her attitude decided not to work with her, and she said she already spend the first check for $1000 and she won't refund it so we put stop on the second check calling to the bank. I asked her please explain what did you spend my $1000 for? You didn't do nothing for me and she replied very rude and unprofessional that it was me and my husband problems and we need to solve it together! I'm just so happy that I stoped working with her in the first step by getting ripped of $1000 not end up paying so much more for the job she didn't do. Save your money and go elsewhere to get treated better and be respected! read more

i met Nana in December/January 2012. I gave her a check for $900 to order 5 yards of an Italian upholstery fabric. In April i asked for a refund if the fabric is not made and there is no news on it. She said she thought it could not be refunded but that she will check. That was the last communication i received from Nana. I emailed, phoned, texted and wrote to Nana but she did not respond. I asked the Better Business Bureau for help. They wrote her 2 letters and she did not respond. I searched her on the internet and saw that she has 16 address attached to her name. She obviously moved a lot. I filed a small claims court case and had the Orange County Sheriff's Department serve her the summon. They said the address of 14271 Jeffrey Rd., Irvine, Ca, her supposed place of business, is a UPS store. The address that was attached to her cell phone they could not find her either. Caveat Emptor. read more

Nana was extremely dishonest and overcharged us for a home renovation project. She was just out to make as much money off of us as possible, while delivering the cheapest, low quality work possible. I would never, ever, ever work with her again. If you do decide to ignore my warning and do business with her then REVIEW HER INVOICES WITH A FINE TOOTHED COMB. She leaves things off when you are in the quoting stage, but then adds things to high heaven when it's time to pay up. She also 'forgot' about multiple payments that I had made to her, expecting me to pay again. Thank goodness for my organized assistant who tracked everything for me and pointed out Nana's 'mistakes'. She's very dishonest and doesn't care how your project turns out. She tells her crew to use the cheapest materials but then charges you a premium. Her designs look nice, but are dimensionally inaccurate -- she doesn't measure anything out, so the end product turns out completely different. There were 3 columns in her design of our entryway, but her crew only built 2 (without discussing the change with us.) Then she told her guys not to stucco over the half-done columns, so they had a big ugly seam down the middle. It was constant short cuts on quality while overcharging us. I'm still quite upset, even though I gave myself a month to cool off before writing this review. Be careful if you decide to do business with her, but better yet find another designer to work with -- someone who is honest and truly wants your project to turn out great while helping your dollar stretch.
