If you have a nice car that you actually care about, you should not be taking it to these places around here with the rollers brushes because they mess up your paint over time and the touch less washes are a complete waste of money. An employee was smoking weed right next to the check out section before pulling into the lane, the employees scrubbed my car for about two minutes with dirty brushes and then they beat on the sides and back of my car as it pulled into the lane. I also paid for the most expensive wash and one side of my car didn't even get soap on it was we went through the tunnel. Upon explaining the dent/ scratch situation to the car wash employee, I was then directed to the liquor store that is attached to the laundromat and car wash for some reason. I explained the situation again to yet another employee and was asked to wait. Mr. Dixon did not show up and another employee told us to just go find him...??? We did. Needless to say he was the worst. Just rude and aggressive. he also refused to give us his name or office phone number for insurance purposes so I had to do some sleuthing. When we went back to the car, he followed us, cussed at us, called us liars, then brought a strange man over to look at the damage on my car. He claimed that no car had ever been damaged by his car wash and that there was no way that his machines damaged my vehicle because the brushes did not touch my car. According to the other reviews here, there has Feinstein been damage in the past. Also, what am I paying for if the brushes are not touching my car? Globs of wax or soap or whatever spurting from tacky bottles on the wall that didn't even reach my car by the way? To be fair though, my car was very dirty and we'd just finished a long trip so it is possible that the damage to my vehicle was simply revealed after washing but the point of this review is merely to point out the awful and aggressive way that my friend and I were treated when we visited Cartoon Car Wash. As soon as as I got into the was my two front tires were completely lifted off the ground by the rollers and dropped my vehicle in the wrong way directly on the track and blew out my front bumper. Immediately after, I got out to take photos and inform staff, the gentleman who was operating the switches at the time noted that he was checking out my car and did not notice the very noticeable damage before going through the tunnel. He also stated that this has happened 2 times earlier that day and almost caused a collision the day prior. So they've sent hundreds of cars through knowing there was a safety issue like this?! Should've been the first red flag. After making a claim and driving off, I had a bad feeling about this interaction, fast forward to Tuesday the 23rd and I get an email saying that they have evidence that my vehicle was damaged prior to utilizing their wash... I'm a photographer, and I have security cameras all over my house, I have photos before the wash as well as dash cam footage of the incident happening (including the attendant telling me to keep veering left, where the damage happened). All calls have gone unanswered. The number on the claim leads to an unanswered line and the number for the car wash is answered by another country. This has been the most disgusting and distasteful experience I've ever had with any business.
