I went during the weekday so it wasn't too busy and was pretty quiet. Apparently it gets pretty busy on the weekends though. The park also has a BBQ area but it might be by permit only since I saw a sign posted of the parties who had reserved the area by permit. This spot would be perfect for a date/picnic, especially during the warm summer months. It makes a great gathering area for family friendly activities as well!

There are bus stops nearby but it may take a while (at least for me when I was too young to drive). Also, parking is pretty limited. There are plenty of fun playhouses and an apparatus for kids to play and have fun. Adults can spent time strolling around and enjoying the greenery. There are benches and places to sit if you want to people-watch. It housed a ton of ribfest vendors. I can see why many events end up being held here. It's a perfect place to have fun and relax. Parking can be a bit of a problem if there is an event. I had first thought about parking at the Port Credit Library lot, but it was full. Side street parking was crazy. I ended up landing a spot at the Port Credit GO and walking over to the park. I'd love to come back to this park, unwind, and see what it's like without the ribfest activities happening. I suspect that I should have an easier time finding parking. (273)

I've been there for some walkathon type events and that was great too. Good space for things like that. Overall a fun place to go, especially in the fall when it's so pretty with all the colored leaves. If you are in the area and aren't sure what to do, it's a great place to run or walk or even sit outside and draw or read. Not many big parks like this around. A friend likes to go there and take pics and I tag along, just cuz it's nice to get outside and walk around. I love it so I'd like to say more but I can't think of what I've forgotten to mention. I guess just keep in mind there is construction on Dundas and by the entrance right now.

Unfortunately for us, we were so keen that we arrived a week early so only like 4 trees were in full bloom but the scenery was still beautiful nonetheless. There was a bridge running through the middle and a man-made pond as well (which was inhabited by ducks). Also plenty of benches across the walkways for ppl to sit. The bell was a nice touch in the middle of the park and the aesthetics are very calming and serene. As an FYI, there's tons of ppl taking vids and pics at this park. Location-wise very convenient because it's also situated near Square One shopping center nearby!

The park is in Oakville that kind of 1 hr from Toronto. The traffic today was not too bad, we followed GPS to a resident area that saying not able to access the park from there, we parked the car across the street, and walked along the trails. However, we walked about 30 mins, we got to a parking lot again that stating this one is the Lions Valley Parking Lot. That means the one we entered from was part of the park. But not the main entrance. Since we don't have too much time today, we couldn't finish the whole park visiting. If we can have a better sign to show the park from the difference entrance, that would be much better.
