Duhhhhhhh! It's 2022, why is depositing a paper check so GD time consuming? Take it, tell me funds will be available when it clears, and let me go about my business. It shouldn't be a 20 minute discussion. I'm not joking, I had a check, and was literally at the counter for 20 minutes while they had 3 people in a discussion. It's a check and you're a bank! Deal!!!! I would totally switch banks but I really don't feel like redoing all of my online payments and direct deposit and all that jazz. There are also less branches of Wells Fargo around too. If other banks keep sending those "We'll give you $300 to switch banks" notices around, I may take them up on the offer.
