They were still willing to do the work, but indicated replacement was a better way to go. For awkward professional furniture such as my electric table, dentist chairs, and movie theatre seats, mobile is the only practical option. How many businesses allow their upholstery to be in disrepair? It's not a very professional look. They also do repairs for autos including camper vans and RV's, leather sofas, and if you have any other material that needs to be fixed you can ask. The owner does a lot of the work herself. She's smart, resourceful, and cares about doing a good job for a fair price. And she has a sense of humor.

I just dropped off two coats and it came to over $25 because one was considered a "rain coat" so that was $15. I am spoiled by Zips and Dry Clean Depot, which were nearby our home in Manassas, VA, where everything dry cleaned is $1.99 and shirts cleaned and pressed are $1. They also do a few items for higher prices, like comforters, but not over $20. I had some seat cushion covers, and they would NOT dry clean those, for example. So given that there are only two or three dry cleaners in Martinsburg, I guess we'll continue to come here as we change our wardrobe over to "wash and wear" items, which I suspect is what most folks wear around here, as opposed to the DC area where you have to have your "business uniform," too.
