Conveniently it has its own lot(s) one on the store entrance side of the building and another on the donation store to the rear. It's located on a busy city street in a mixed commercial/residential neighborhood. Although the police station is close by I would consider this area a little questionable. It was fine during the day but probably different at night. With that being said I was surprised by this Goodwill location as it's different from any other I visited on the east coast. EVERYTHING IS .99 CENTS, with the exception of mattresses and drinks. I really don't know why it's priced that way or if clearance from other location eventually end up here but the quality was decent. I only saw a few pieces that were flawed by rips or wear so I do think it goes thru a sorting process of some sort. I'd say 95% of the store consists of clothing - all hung and organized by item and loosely by size (meaning organization wasn't perfect). The house ware dept was meager at best and mostly bare. There were some books and videos in the back. The store itself is pretty basic and utilitarian. No displays, just racks and racks of clothes, spaced well so it was easy to navigate. Social distancing was also not a problem and everyone was masked. I did see what appeared to be dressing rooms but not labeled as such. Every thrift store I encountered that weekend, other Goodwill's included, were not allowing trying on of clothes due to covid. I walked out with a few decent pieces of clothes for my grandkids feeling satisfied.

It's certainly a smaller shop but it is jampacked with magical things. My boyfriend and I probably spent at least half an hour in here just wandering around. We both ended up buying some things to take back home. It was just definitely a fun little spot to explore while in Shepherdstown. I hope this place stays around for a very long time because I'd love to visit again someday.

The gentleman working inside was very welcoming and social. The whole star was 50% off that day, which my addicted to shopping mind said "SCORE!" All the items in the shop were in good shape and I saw many that still had tags. Prices matched what I would expect for consignment. But, unfortunately, nothing peaked my interest. I felt that all the styles were too old or too young for me. I kept an eye out for any high fashion labels but they evaded me. I'd shuffle through again, though!
