I had a massage from Juniper and it was phenomenal. I have old shoulder and tail bone injuries. So my body is all twisted up, and not in ways that are readily apparent from looking at me. I used to work in homeless services and there is a concept called "meeting people where they are at" rather than where they should be. I feel like Jun met my body where it was at, and not where it should be. In other words she was adaptable, intuitive, and really got into the core problem areas. When I got home, my wife commented that my posture was better. I usually don't get such good improvement with only one session. She was also super friendly and had great energy to be around. I have tried several different places in Salt Lake and park city in the last five years and this place has been the best. I have been going to Zen massage for the last year and Keegan and her colleagues have been amazing. After the first couple of sessions I bought the annual subscription. It's been worth every penny. My heart rate drops as soon as I walk into the space every time. It is just inviting and calming and makes all the stress just disappear. This has done more for my mental health than even my physical health which is saying a lot because the massage services have been phenomenal. Very satisfied! I had read reviews about this place and we were in town for the weekend and I had a migraine and needed to do some thing about it! I had also heard that Jun was very good and yelp was right! She made me feel very comfortable from the beginning and the atmosphere is very clean and relaxing. The attention and detail received at Zen Massage was beyond anything I'd experienced before. I surprised my wife on Valentine's Day with a couples massage. It's something she's wanted to do for some time and this Valentines seemed like the perfect opportunity. We've had a few couples massages in the past with different types of packages: sauna, baths, steam rooms, etc. This time i wanted to see what it would be like to focus all the time and money on just the massage. So I decided to try a 2 hour massage. I was not disappointed. There were a number of areas that I never knew were tense, or even really existed to massage (I'm sure many of you do, but I've just never studied the different muscles). Specifically the top of my calf area on the front of my leg, the back of my forearm, the back of my hand, and the wing area that connects my chest to my arm. I was so relaxed. I've never quite experienced a massage this thorough before. I'd definitely recommend this place for anyone who need to relieve some stress. This place was definitely worth the money. The staff is amazing and treat you with the utmost care and detail. Definitely plan on coming here again in the future. TLDR: Got a 2 hour couples massage with my wife. When I tell you this place is heaven on earth, I mean it. I booked an hour massage for me and my friend for my birthday over the phone and they were able to accommodate the day and time that worked best for me. We walked in and was greeted with smiles and hellos. Olga was the one who worked on me. She was so sweet, and had the cutest accent! She had amazing flow. I always can tell in a massage when it's just repetitive movements and it doesn't feel customized, but she had such little details with the way she was moving her fingers and it felt very customized to what I was wanting. My wife and I came in for a couples massage and had a wonderful experience. Helen was my therapist and I don't remember having a better massage. I get a massage every other week and I like deep tissue work. Helen managed to apply perfect pressure and speed with great technique. She also applied more stretching then I have ever had in a massage which was exactly what I needed. My wife had Char and said it was an excellent deep massage. We decided to find a good place to get a massage after a stressful week and glad that my boyfriend recommended this place ( he used to come here regularly when he was in Jiu-Jitsu) and it exceeded my expectations. My husband loved his massage. The woman I was paired up with was great! I had recently undergone an acl reconstruction and she noticed before I had to tell her to be gentle on that leg. The massage therapists were amazing!!! Definitely the best massage I have ever had. The reasoning for the 2/5 stars is it was hard to relax completely due to the instrumental Irish choice of music and the clinging of weights and screaming from kids. This is in between VASA and CrossFit.. so you can hear quite a bit... I never entered that deep relaxation drooling nose dripping phase of the massage due to all the noice. It was $250 for a couples and I definitely do not feel it was worth that in the environment. I would love to go back to the massage therapists but not at that location. My experience here was pretty mixed. I showed up about 20 minutes before my appointment and the doors were locked. Usually I like to arrive early for a spa appointment so I can unwind and enjoy a cup of tea or something along those lines, but that wasn't an option here. I waited in my car for about 15 minutes, and the door was finally unlocked about 5 minutes before my massage. When I got into the lobby, a very nice gentleman helped me get checked in and I filled out a handful of electronic forms. The water cooler in the waiting room is broken, and there were no other refreshments or snacks available. For a spa at this price point, I found that surprising. The treatment room was relatively comfortable (no heated table). There is a fitness studio right next door, and they must have had a class going on because I could hear the music through the walls. The massage therapist was clearly inexperienced, but attentive, and after a few years of practice, I think this person will be capable of giving an exceptional massage. Overall, I'm glad I tried it out, but it's unlikely that I will return. read more
