After my intake appointment I received a bill for the full price of the intake appointment. My insurance told me they (and most Insurances) don't approve 2D photos unless there is a medical necessity for them and that they billed the intake as a "Doctor Exam" which I had met my amount of Doctor Exams for the year of 2025. When I called them, I was told they only verify the Insurance would be accepted and they don't check to ensure insurance will cover the appointment, which is completely different than what I was told when I scheduled the appointment. So now I am on the hook for $200 and I am not even going to use them because of their shady business practices.
