On 7/16/26 | had a cleaning appt at Bayview dental Blake Park 59th st W. My cleanings cost 200 and I went there with that amount. I was already back in the chair when I was told I needed additional tests at the tune of 500.00 +. I did not have that amount nor was I ever told it would be that much. They had plenty of time to notify me of this price before my appt. I left. No sooner | get home and I get a text saying I missed my appt.(I didn't) The photos below show my exchange. I get a letter today 7/19 saying they will no longer see me which I already told them I'd never be back. They did not date the letter but the envelope was dated 7/17. They sent this out after I already told them I wouldnt be back. The office lady Linda is rude, unprofessional and apparently petty for sending me a letter knowing I'd never be back. I can see why all the nice dentists who worked there quit. You get a different dentist every visit. The office lady (Linda) is one of the most immature, unprofessional people l've ever encountered. This was a good place a couple years ago but not anymore. Buyer beware if you go here. As a side note I started going to this office in 2008. Always paid my bills and never had any problems. read more

Under Dr. Andrés Lázaro, BayView Dental gave my family exceptional care -- he even rebuilt my son's entire mouth. That changed with Dr. Elodie Epane, DDS. I came in with an urgent dental problem that left me in pain and unable to chew. BayView's website promises same-day emergency care for issues like mine, "compassion," and making patients "comfortable and healed." Instead, I was told treatment would only start if I paid $1,000 immediately. When I couldn't, I was refused care and sent away exactly as I came in. The care and compassion I once experienced here is gone. read more

Per previous review and in response to Sydney W, we tried to work out the issue with the branch office manager. My insurance agent and I attempted to provide clarification of coverage via phone to your office and were repeatedly interrupted and ultimately hung up on by said office manager. Despite indicating directly to me and the insurance agent that she would be sending a credit refund for services covered by insurance carrier that I was forced to pay at the time of visit, after several weeks no credit received on statement and credit card bank has no record of the credit request. Office experience has only been less than appropriate when dealing with your so-called branch manager who has poor customer service attitude and provides nothing but rude treatment to loyal/paying customers. This type of behavior will surely lose many customers/patients for Bayview in the long run. Too bad Yelp doesn't have a no star option for rating. read more

I have used this practice to have Dentures made and implants. I've paid 12.5 cash to have this percedure done.. Ken and Staff didn't follow through with what we agreed to and side stepped the process in the debocal. Very Very disappointed. Bayview Dental Associates' Dr Lazaro performed a six crown restoration. Everything went smoothly and the procedure was pain free. Crowns feel great and exactly match my other teeth. Staff were pleasant to interact with, facility was clean, and best practice sanitation processes were followed. Bayview Dental Associates is in my Medicare Advantage network, so pricing was reasonable as well. read more

Financially A+ rated in my book trying to find the best possible outcome using insurance, splitting procedures over two calendar years to effectively use deductibles. The dentist at Bayview Dentel excellent they were really good to me last year and a half. I've had to go back a few times I have my plate adjusted. They have no problems seeing me. I've had no problems making appointments at the last minute. I love the dentist. What a relief to know how professional, caring, goes above and beyond to help you. He Goes out of his way to explain everything, even if you ask him two or three times to explain again, he does. He gives you the time of day to answer any questions you may have, which is a plus for me. He does not look and leave. He is caring enough to make you feel comfortable in his chair. I went to Bayview Dental on the recommendation of a friend after a very negative experience that I had with my previous dentist. I was tired of below average service from the dentists that I had in the past, so I didn't mind driving from Orlando to go to a dentist that my friend had a good experience with. I am very glad that I did. I was very impressed. I had two fillings put in and a full cleaning and was in and out very quickly. Andrea is the best dental hygienist that I have ever had. She was very thorough and took the time to explain everything with me. Rather than just telling me what to do, she helped me understand why I should do what she was suggesting. It made me feel like she really cared about my teeth specifically. Then I went in to see Dr. Keyzer and she was equally impressive. Every time I've had fillings in the past, I have had residual pain for a few days after. Not with her. I was eating and chewing like normal less than 2 hours after leaving, WITH NO PAIN. Very very pleased. As for the rest of the experience, nothing but top marks. Waiting room was clean and tidy. The receptionist was friendly, knowledgeable, and a good listener. I also really liked that the paperwork that I had to fill out on my first visit wasn't of the sort that has been xeroxed a million times and is obviously from the 1980's like many other doctors offices. Do not go here! Dentist was very unprofessional. He performed work that had to be completely repaired within 2 weeks. They have submitted fraudulent insurance charges & I have been billed for their mistakes. They will not return calls to get this worked out. read more

I had an appointment scheduled for this Friday at 2:30 for 2 months and they mysteriously changed the appointment to 12:30 but I work till 2:30. I called to ask what's going on and no explanation but a rescheduled appointment for August 22nd at 2:30. What business can change your appointment time for no reason and then reschedule you out 2.5 months later?? It's been one issue after another with these folks. read more

I just moved here 1 year ago was recommended by my brother to go to Bayview Dental, I had, in the Baltimore area the same dentist for 25 years, 2 cleanings a year and other work as needed. I come here they tell me I have gum issues and need a deep cleaning which my insurance does not cover fully, then I was over charged for that work, finally that was resolved. Then my wife had some work done which she had to pay up front, then our Insurance said they should have charged less. This last time I set a cleaning appt told them I just want a regular cleaning which my Insurance covers fully and when I got there,they said they would only do a periodontal cleaning, which I had to payextra for, I got up and left. It seems, all they want to do is pressure you into extra services which you have to pay extra for. Even my long time dentist whom I called for advise told to go to another dentist. read more

Going to the dentist is not something most of us look forward to but being greeted with a smile and having a detailed conversation with Dr. Keyzer made me feel well taken care of.
