TRUE STORY ~ I recently bought an adult tricycle which I had to assemble. I did but I was not able to get it to shift. I looked online an found Creekside Cyclery with a "5" rating. I drove to the shop to talk about my dilemma. I asked if they could help to which they said "Yes". I said I would have to make arrangements to get the tricycle to the shop as I don't have a truck. Conrad said that if I gave him my address, he would stop after work and take a look. We arranged a time and I left. Conrad arrived earlier than planned and within 15-20 minutes, my tricycle was shifting great. I asked him how much I owed him and he said nothing. We"discussed" that and finally we agreed on a fee which I was happy to pay. This was a rare exhibition of a business which cares. So...this is my second review of this place and I want to give credit where it's due. I use a wheelchair and my tires & tubes function just like a bike. The hub and axle is a different design than a bicycle, but everything else is the same. I''ve been stuck for years having to use a medical supply company for tires & tubes because bike shops won't give me the time of day when they find out my call is about a chair. That's not the case here. They welcome me anytime, perform great service, and have the right attitude about it all. They're not afraid to roll up their sleeves and do what they can. From the moment I contacted the store on yelp to taking the bike in to be looked at , I had experienced noting but Professionalism, curtesy and a over Genuineness from the the staff of this store. My husband and I started looking for a bike a year ago when the pandemic started. We must have visited at least half a dozen different bike stores before we found Creekside. We looked around and there was a worldwide bike shortage. After looking at a few more places we returned to Creekside and Conrad had JUST gotten some bikes in. He fitted the perfect bike for my husband based on his personal needs and we've since gone back several times to buy several accessories and even bought a new bike for me. I was very lucky to find this shop open on a Sunday a few hundred yards from the bike path in Beavercreek when I had a broken cable. They fixed the cable and had the derailer working more smoothly than when the bike was new while I ate my lunch. Fast, thorough service at an extremely reasonable price.
