The one specific I will share is the parental communication is really bad - sometimes unprofessional (not bcc'ing large distributions, forgetting attachments etc) and sometimes almost aggressive (whole lotta all caps about their highly questionable Covid protocol) - but pretty much always riddled with mistakes. The teachers do not seem like they're enjoying their jobs at all compared to other programs.

He tried 2 other camps in Park City and he chose Another Way as he said he felt as if it was "comforting". Diane Bode is a brilliant educator and the creator of this school. Her staff are all so loving, skilled, attentive, and warm. The team creates a safe, happy, welcoming place for children to learn, to grow, to explore....all with respect for every child's own developmental needs. My son was introduced to horses and wanted to ride daily. He couldn't wait to get to camp every day and today, his last day, he was so sad it was over. And, he's asked me no less than 10 times if we could move to Park City so that he can go to school at Another Way. Thank you Diane, for this incredible school. I am not sure why anyone would send their kids to a charter school especially with a well funded,…read moretop rated school district like Park City or Wasatch School District. Some teachers have no college degrees, transportation is expensive and unreliable, lunches are not nutritional and equity/diversity is lacking. Charter schools receive a fraction of education funding, held less accountable and really have no idea what they are doing. Lack of academic rigor and safety, disorganized and non compliant. Students kicked out of not finding success in neighborhood public school often try charter schools.

During the dialog, it was clear this is an only a business as it's top priority and schooling and kids are secondary. Do not send kids here, they only care about money, not your kids from our experience and opinion.
