None of them felt right, they all smelled like dirty diapers, and I was worried I would have to send my son to a daycare that I didn't like. The last daycare I stopped by that afternoon was Kidz Academy. All it took was walking in to the building (a cute little home on 200 W), to immediately fall in love with the place. I knew it would be a good place to send my son. Talking to the director, Isabelle, only sealed the deal. It just felt right. Since that day, all four of my children have attended Kidz Academy preschool and daycare (both locations). I have not worried once about my children while they were in their care . The employees at Kidz Academy have always provided a fun, safe place for my kids to go with teachers who are kind and caring. Kidz Academy is owned and operated by an amazing family who has been in the daycare industry for over 20 years. They are caring, well trained, and all around incredible people. Kidz Academy has been a home away from home for my children. I highly recommend this place above any other in the valley.

Preschool staff are supposed to be trained in being a primary reporter for children's well being, it was shocking that they would so casually make an accusation of this nature and raised enormous red flags as to the type of employee culture of this preschool.

After pre-school her reading was impressive but one month into Kindergarten it has taken off! They do a lot of learning through songs and it's fun listening to our daughter sing some of them when she's playing in her room or just doing her own thing. The teachers have all been there a long time and are very good at their jobs. She has made a lot of friends and even though some of her pre-school pals didn't return for Kindergarten we've stayed in touch with them and the parents have been good to get to know as well. Others have made assertions about the security. As a parent with a child enrolled I will say that security at the campus is fine. Only an idiot would publish their security details online but having had my child there for going on two full years I am happy with what they do. Also the police station is literally across the street. Not near by, across the street.

She loves to sing us the silly songs she learns and show off her art projects when we pick her up. The director and teachers focus on helping students develop social and emotional skills in addition to a well rounded academic curriculum. Questions (or concerns) are welcomed and responded to in a timely manner with an effective resolution. The school is safe with a locked campus and a good teacher to student ratio. The classrooms are clean, the grounds are spacious and the playground is well maintained. There hasn't been any staff turnover in the two years my daughter has attended and you can feel how much they care about the kids. They educate with warmth and good humor.

He struggles with ADHD and has been to more daycares than I can count on two hands. Lion is 6 and went to Wasatch Charter down the street, where his days were very hard! Children's cottage would pick him up and his day would turn around. Many days when picking up Lion he didn't want to leave. This told me one very important thing! That's kids could be kids there. That he felt seen and that his needs were being met. He genuinely had so much fun each and every day! The 2nd thing I have to say is the director/owner Dave and his wife are truly angels. They went above and beyond for my family in multiple ways. You can tell when people truly care about others! And they truly do. Their care and standard for how they show up trickles down to the teachers and to the children. In a world where everyone is so busy chasing a dollar, that they can't pause to truly be present to others and their experience! I found hope at the Children's Cottage and to my surprise not just for my son but for myself as well. If you're on the fence about if the Children's cottage is for your family or not I guarantee, you won't be disappointed.
