I think it's important for those seeing these reviews to realize they are from many years ago when the clinic was under different ownership. Check out Google reviews - the clinic has very high reviews and the doctors are great. I've seen Dr. Raya Al-Dujaili for many years and have never been anything but totally impressed. I showed up for my 11am appointment to see Karen Parker, was there until 1130 and was STILL waiting to see Karen Parker. I saw her walking up and down the hallway as if unaware that she had any patients to see. The ladies at reception seemed defensive, they must be used to being called out for keeping patients waiting. I just walked away. I better not be charged as a no show. I showed up. My nurse practitioner was the no show. I'm really disappointed because she is a very thorough nurse practioner but she takes on more patients than she can handle. It seems greedy at this point. Quality of care is compromised. I don't know if that's sustainable. read more

My wife and I and our three kids had been going there for several years. I tried to book an appointment yesterday only to find out that we have been deactivated because we haven't been there enough. I was there last in 2011, but my oldest son was there in late 2012. I didn't even know this could happen. We weren't given any notice. I guess they don't want 'healthy' people there? They also told me they aren't accepting any new patients and they are no longer a walk in clinic. This means that we can no longer go there at all and we were forced to find another family doctor. read more

I am very disappointed I was very happy with them at first until I found out that my family Doctor had left and didn't move me to a new doctor although I agreed with them to do so And when asked for a paper for my taxes the manager threw the paper on the table and said I hate these immigration paper work and wouldn't do it I was insulted and never felt worse I think the the manager should be fired And they should get. Other than the Doctor there is nothing great about this clinic. They've booked appointment with me and gave me a card with the time and date only to find out that they didn't enter it in the computer, I'm guessing. In the 20 yrs of seeing my previous doctor, my family and I never missed an appointment, due to the fact that Kris, the receptionist had customer service skills and made calls to confirm appointments. With today's technology they don't even need to make the call themselves, robot calls can handle that task. I will hopefully be a patient of Dr. Yull for a long time and I would follow him pretty much anywhere he would go in the city if he left. Sadly my previous Doctor moved to France and I can't afford the flights. They the owners run clinic as a corporation with no compassion for the patients. read more

The doctor's office here is awful. It's so difficult to get in to make an appointment and the front desk staff is rude, including the supposed office manager. Just call their phone number and you can tell immediately how unhelpful and unfriendly they are. Instead of a "hello" or "thank you for calling" you get a "We are NOT a walk in clinic. We are NOT accepting new patients". I had an awful experience trying to book a physical appointment. I have been trying to get in since Feb (it's now Apr) and when I tried to explain what happened, I was told that was "impossible". read more

I was a patient at Creekside Clinic for about 5 years, in that time I never saw the same doctor more than once because the doctors are always leaving this clinic due to issues with the management. A couple months ago I tried to make an appointment and they told me "Sorry, your doctor has moved on and we have no doctors who are taking new patients now, you'll have to go to a different clinic." Of course this means transferring my file to the new clinic, a service for which Creekside charges $30, a fee they will not waive even given my circumstances. Absolutely terrible. TL;DR They won't let me see a doctor, in spite of my having been with them for 5 years, and then charge me $30 for the privilege of leaving. read more

The 1 star is not because of the doctors but i am very unhappy with the receptionists here. Every since creekside has been opened, I've been going there for walk ins. I moved to Edmonton for school but would occssionally go there when I needed to see the doctors. I called requesting for a refill and only to find out that everything had changed. They don't accept walk-ins anymore. They removed my records and they claim they gave me an opportunity to get a family doctor but I didn't respond. The recptionist was so rude. So disapointing. Not to mention, whenver I did make an appointment before the whole change, it took almost 2 hours for them to call me in. read more

My doctor is great, but the staff and management are terrible. They don't answer the phone until the clinic has been open for at least an hour. I asked for a photocopy of something for my records, and I was treated like a HUGE inconvenience. I've seen the office manager scream at staff in front of patients. The only Yelp review this place has with more than one star was obviously written by a staff member. If you're looking for a family doctor, keep looking. read more

The receptionists here have no customer service skill, and seem to be disinclined to answer the phone. It takes forever to get through on the phone, when you do, the doctor is rarely available in any reasonable time frame. They give out wrong information, then deny it when you bring it to their attention. I called for an appointment with my dr, was told to come in as a walk in as he had no appt available for 3 weeks. I arrived 20 mins later to be told they werent accepting walk ins. the place is ridiculously poorly managed, and i am sorry to have ended up with a doctor who is only available 2 days a week who happens to also have the disadvantage of working with this clinic. This office is horrible. From forgetting to send in the paperwork for an MRI to Doctors that think they are entitled. After Dr. Duncan left this place went downhill. My appt would be at 9...and at 9:05 the Dr would stroll in the office and be another 15 mins before they saw me. After a few appts like this I found a new Doctors office. While I loved my doctor, booking an appointment is a nightmare. They have always called me back to change my appointment days before I am supposed to go, when I have already made arrangements at work. They then act like it's an inconvenience when I can't take time off to accommodate when they want me to come in. (They actually tried to book me from 3:00-3:30 with one doctor, and then 3:15 with another... at the same time). A headache every time I have to make a new appointment, and even though it took me 7 years to find a family doctor that I like, I'm going to have to keep looking. Really disappointing. read more

Sadly, it is not the doctors here that are the problem. I have seen 3 of the doctors here and had no issues with any of them. Front desk though? I have never dealt with such rude, unhelpful and angry people! I don't want to throw all of them under the bus as I have dealt with one lady who was very nice and helpful to me, but there are a few receptionists here who should not be allowed to deal with the public. I made an appointment with my family doctor a month in advance (since the times are so unaccommodating to the working folk) and booked a time. I took the day off work and when I came in for it, I was told my appointment was with another doctor and I had missed the appointment by half an hour. I was given attitude and made to feel stupid when I knew I booked my appointment with my family doctor due to the nature of what I was seeing her for and had wrote down the correct time. I was told that it was too bad I messed up my appointment and would have to come back another day and I was livid. I would rather not have a family doctor at all then have to come to this place every so often! read more
