I was not happy with the way they did the closing on my house. I was given three different closing cost documents with 3 different prices. As a result, I have to pay additional taxes this year because I had to pull money out of my IRA two differnt times to pay the closing costs. You're only allowed a roll over once every 12 months. It has taken a long time for me to be able to write this review. My experience with this company was so bad that it has really taken me a long time to be emotionally healed enough to talk about it. They were extremely unprofessional throughout a difficult situation that lasted almost two years. At the end they even made a joke about how long it lasted which was nice salt to pour into a very expensive wound. At multiple points I had to have outside attorneys contact them to instruct them on simple legal terms and basically tell them how to do their jobs. We lost money because of their inability to communicate clearly and professionally. We made it very clear that due to this long horrible experience we would never do business with them again. Crescent Title was extremely helpful and necessary while we were buying the house. They very carefully got all my ducks in a row, (the paperwork and documents) while I just signed and paid. During the closing, they offer hot white chocolate chip cookies and cokes in small glass bottles. I even got a pen and a keychain with their company logo on it! Not bad for several thousand dollars in closing costs. But ya know what? Its totally worth it, because I know who holds the title on THIS property now! Me! Right? No the bank silly! I went here to get documents notarized and from beginning to end this place was wonderful. Like another reviewer said they have top quality customer service and they do it well. Of the four people I encountered all of them were great, and 2 of them were simply exchanging pleasantries regarding my broken leg. Finally, I did indeed witness fresh baked cookies (its true y'all!) given to another client. I've already decided to request this place when I close on my house just so I can get some piping hot cookies and I ain't sharing with nobody.....getcher own plate. Do not use Crescent Title for your closing. We went through Crescent Title for the closing of a house we were selling and for 5 months they said we had an old open mortgage from 2003 that we needed to get a mortgage release on. When it came to the day the contract was going to be null and void they schedule a closing .We notified them on two different day that we were not able to attend. They went ahead with the closing knowing we were not going to attend and Robert Bergeron signed a Default of Sale against us. Him and the buyer deliberately did this so they could sign a Default of Sale and sue us. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY THEY WILL DO ANYTHING IT TAKE TO CLOSE THE DEAL! read more

The error was obvious, and rested squarely with their office. They subsequently acknowledged no fault and did not apologize or rectify the situation in the slightest.
