This is very much a spot to visit once in a lifetime, at least during their cafe hours. I came in at around 10:30am on a Saturday and the queues were already approaching the door. Looking around, the decor and layout was so beautiful. I thought, ok there are many people here so the drinks and offerings must be amazing. Once I ordered and got my brown sugar oat latte, I realized that it was just a plain old latte. Although the interior is absolutely stunning, their drinks are just fine and the crowds are too darn big. The only thing saving this place from getting a one star is the absolutely stunning atmosphere this café brings for being a former bank, and one of the sandwich workers Li for being great at handling the mishaps that happened today. To start off, they gave us the wrong order number so our buzzer never got called up until waiting 20-25 minutes with me having to ask about the order. By the time we got the drinks, the ice already melted watering them down. Fortunately the staff were nice enough to remake our drinks. The Dulce De Latte was decent, but not much espresso flavour coming through. The Matcha Latte was one of the worst we've had in a long time but I assume it's not their specialty anyway. The pressed breakfast croissant was decent and the Turkey BLT was great, however I had to wait a long time for my order to be remade. Previously I asked the Cashier regarding if the bread for the BLT had sesame for allergen reasons and she told me it shouldn't. However when we finally got our sandwiches, mine was covered in sesame seeds. Again, Li and the sandwich team were great today and remade the sandwich fast while being kind. Saved this place from the one star review. Meanwhile, for the collective of the café, I expect better especially for the upscaled price. read more

One comes for the interior and it did not disappoint. Previously a bank it now has a cafe and other spaces. The cafe was bustling and has spaces you can rent for short periods to do work. There are menus right by the stairs when you come in with limited items but enough for a full breakfast. The drinks were the disappointment, we ordered for sit down but it still came in paper cups. They did say Crew Cafe but was expecting the cafe experience, besides that they weren't good. The hot chocolate and chai more tasted like water than any other flavor. After the drinks we weren't expecting much from the food but the food was great. The house granola had fresh fruit with a combination of berries and mandarins which gave a nice ting. I definitely would want to try that combination again. The Falmont Bagel was delicious with a perfect amount of salmon to cream cheese ratio but it was lacking with the capers. The Breakfast Sandwich had a great mayo and the favorite was the Avocado Toast. The salsa on this was amazing and was a perfect avocado toast, if you were to get one thing it should be this. We tried the pistachio cookie and it was the sweetest thing ever, unless you want to eat basically straight sugar, I would not recommend. I'd seen that this place was recommended a few times, so we decided to stop by for breakfast one day. We walked inside and the line was huge, however it moved pretty fast. The building is a beautiful old bank and that gives it a charm, and the did the cafe inside in a modern nod to the original design. The drink choices were great I tried a dulce de latte which was so good and an almond croissant from the counter, which was good but I'd have preferred it warm. My parents got a latte and a hot chocolate with a danish. We didn't order off the menu as we didn't want a lot to eat or to wait too long but what I saw come out on table next to me looked good. read more

Ambience is excellent. It's such a great spot for working from cafe and getting brunch. There are tables and booths on the sides of the cafe that can seat people for work. The entirety of the cafe is in an old bank and the teller windows are still existing. You can see the kitchen and bar behind there. The ceiling is incredible too. Drinks: I got the matcha latte which was good but I felt like not the best of Montreal. All the food looks good but I haven't had it. Just an observation from other tables. This is the coffee shop of my dreams! This is an old bank turned coffee shop so you can only imagine how beautiful the architecture is. As soon as you enter there's a beautiful Staircase that leads to the seating and ordering of the food. There's plenty of seating and even rooms you can reserve to study and work privately. We came Friday morning around 9:30 and there was a short line that moved quickly. The employee that took my order was friendly and patient and helped me decide what I should order. They didn't have any plain bagels so I went with the sesame bagel with cream cheese. The architecture alone makes me want to come back!Everyone should come here at least once. Loved this! Located in a heritage building in Ottawa that was once the Royal Bank of Canada. Absolutely stunning. What a great place to combine touring and breakfast! My coffee was delicious. Milk was steamed well, and obviously a wonderful ambiance. It seems they have experienced baristas. Despite the price and popularity, I was unimpressed with their coffee. Unfortunately there was very little espresso flavor to be found, almost like drinking a flavored milk. WOW what a crazy amazing looking place!!! A cafe and work space in a former bank building. With soaring ceilings and gilded details, the ambiance here cannot be beat. It's also surprisingly quiet considering all of the echo possibilities -- or maybe not quiet as much as everything just kind of melts into one big hum. Our hotel was close to here so we ate breakfast here twice. The coffee is really excellent if you're a coffee snob like me -- it was a little too complex for my partner but I ended up purchasing three bags to take home as a souvenir. I also loved their yogurt, basic fruit and granola and honey faire but somehow it just hit the spot. In my first visit, I tried their Cortado and loved it. In the second visit, we went for a Cold Brew and a Pistachio Latte, along with Spinach Ricotta Danish, and Cheese Croissant. Loved Cold Brew more than the Pistachio Latte. Cortado and Cold Brew would be #1 and #2 respectively. Danish and the Croissant were great too. The staff was nice and friendly as well. The service is lightning fast. Great options to sit with high chairs, regular tables and meeting rooms (you need to book them). Great place to work remotely. Definitely recommended. read more

There was a line both times but it moved fairly quickly and I was lucky to find a seat each time. The first visit was 5/5 - iced latte was perfect, breakfasts sandwich with avocado was delicious on a perfectly soft brioche bread and a pistachio sweet treat hit the spot. Second visit lacked some consistency but was still great spot for coffee. The same breakfast sandwich was very disappointing but the coffee and beautiful location made up for it.
