One comes for the interior and it did not disappoint. Previously a bank it now has a cafe and other spaces. The cafe was bustling and has spaces you can rent for short periods to do work. There are menus right by the stairs when you come in with limited items but enough for a full breakfast. The drinks were the disappointment, we ordered for sit down but it still came in paper cups. They did say Crew Cafe but was expecting the cafe experience, besides that they weren't good. The hot chocolate and chai more tasted like water than any other flavor. After the drinks we weren't expecting much from the food but the food was great. The house granola had fresh fruit with a combination of berries and mandarins which gave a nice ting. I definitely would want to try that combination again. The Falmont Bagel was delicious with a perfect amount of salmon to cream cheese ratio but it was lacking with the capers. The Breakfast Sandwich had a great mayo and the favorite was the Avocado Toast. The salsa on this was amazing and was a perfect avocado toast, if you were to get one thing it should be this. We tried the pistachio cookie and it was the sweetest thing ever, unless you want to eat basically straight sugar, I would not recommend. Overall a great place for breakfast but I would go elsewhere for a drink.

Such a beautiful cafe with stunning views inside. I was surprised on how many people were in there just enjoy the food and students sitting down and studying. Would definitely come back again and try more things on their menu

This is the coffee shop of my dreams! This is an old bank turned coffee shop so you can only imagine how beautiful the architecture is. As soon as you enter there's a beautiful Staircase that leads to the seating and ordering of the food. There's plenty of seating and even rooms you can reserve to study and work privately. We came Friday morning around 9:30 and there was a short line that moved quickly. The employee that took my order was friendly and patient and helped me decide what I should order. They didn't have any plain bagels so I went with the sesame bagel with cream cheese. The architecture alone makes me want to come back!Everyone should come here at least once. I'm glad I tried this while on vacation exploring Montreal. It is also not far from the Notre-Dame basilica.

Crew Collective & Cafe was hopping busy on Monday: Victoria Day in Canada . Great, historic space converted to serve modern needs. I enjoyed a flat white. Service was fast (especially that it's busy) , friendly and efficient. Update: Weirdly??? I was told to put away my laptop. I have never been a recipient of this type of policy in all the coffee shops I've visited. This policy definitely detracted from my experience. Ce la vie!

First time here! We were visiting from NYC. I was so excited to come see this cafe as I saw it was so popular. When we walked in we were amazed of the place and design inside. Food was amazing I had a croissant with ham and cheese and an ice latte delicious!!

I love this cafe. It's an old bank. The architecture is amazing, reminds me of Grand Central Station in NYC. Ive been to Montreal a couple of times. This time I was a block away from here and came everyday. Coffee and pastries were great. Plenty of seating. Lines can be long but moves quickly. I can seat here all day. Overall, a must stop even just to see the inside of the building.

This place is a must on your visit in Montreal. The location is an old bank renovated into a cafe. The architecture alone is worth the visit! The food was more pasties and breakfast items. They had a delicious egg sandwich that I recommend. The bagels are great! We shared an ice latte that hit the spot. Staff was patient and friendly- they provided recommendations and accommodated for any food allergies.

Loved this! Located in a heritage building in Ottawa that was once the Royal Bank of Canada. Absolutely stunning. What a great place to combine touring and breakfast! My coffee was delicious. As was my avocado toast served with salad and a hard boiled egg. Everything was seasoned perfectly. You get on line, order, and wait for your food and drink -- they come out on different areas on the left of where you ordered (food all the way at the end). You seat yourself once you have your items. Beautiful and unique place for breakfast in Ottawa. Enjoy!

Milk was steamed well, and obviously a wonderful ambiance. It seems they have experienced baristas. Despite the price and popularity, I was unimpressed with their coffee. Unfortunately there was very little espresso flavor to be found, almost like drinking a flavored milk. I did enjoy their specialty flavors such as dulce de leche, which made the drink very creamy and dessert-like. However, I would not return here if I was looking for quality.

WOW what a crazy amazing looking place!!! A cafe and work space in a former bank building. With soaring ceilings and gilded details, the ambiance here cannot be beat. It's also surprisingly quiet considering all of the echo possibilities -- or maybe not quiet as much as everything just kind of melts into one big hum. Our hotel was close to here so we ate breakfast here twice. The coffee is really excellent if you're a coffee snob like me -- it was a little too complex for my partner but I ended up purchasing three bags to take home as a souvenir. I also loved their yogurt, basic fruit and granola and honey faire but somehow it just hit the spot. Might be that favorable exchange rate from CAD to USD, but I really appreciated how loaded up it was. You can also get fairmont bagels here, which is rad.

Overall: C // 3 stars Unbeatable vibes at this bank turned cafe with immense seating in the back and a rustic comforting charm. However, its sad to see that their espresso get gravely negative reviews, and their matcha latte to be one of the worst I've ever had when the staff clearly has the skills to do beautiful latte art, meaning that the issues should be with the product itself. For this reason, there is a huge upward potential in the near future. Food: -2 Presentation: E Price: E Atmosphere: +2 Service: E Menu: E Insta/Yelp/Beli/TikTok: @amei_eats

The atmosphere doesn't get any better than this. I believe it was an old bank that was turned into a coffee shop so naturally the architecture is amazing! Large ceilings with intricate designs and clean modern seating. Amazing vibes! I would give this place 5 stars just for the interior vibes and a great space for conversations, meetings, and studying if you need too. The place is more crowded than most coffee shops in Montreal downtown area because it is also a tourist spot. The coffee itself was pretty good but a little bit more expensive than most places if I remember right. They also have bar seating, as well as privacy section enclosed with tables and chairs. I love the working pods through-out and the vintage lounge sofas for seating as well. A lovely experience from the moment you walk in and take in the grandeur of the building! I LOVE Montreal....

Beautiful cafe in a decommissioned bank! Incredibly high ceilings and beautiful architecture. The line is quite long but it moves. Serving coffee, tea, and your basic baked goods and breakfast, this place is a nice spot to enjoy its ambience. Prices aren't too crazy either.

Beautiful inside. Coffee is pretty good and the baked items are good. Great alternative for breakfast if dandy's is busy.

Luckily, this place was down the same street as my hostel so I made the trip and was greeted in French but they quickly made me comfortable when they realized my native tongue was English. How freakin' cute is this place ?! SO CUTE. So much to look at and do. Great place to dine alone or with friends. They have Nintendo that you can play with many games, fun booths you literally have to climb into and just so many apparatuses you can check out. Oh yeah! And my chai latte and breakfast burrito (suggested by the lovely barista) tied it all together to make a perfect experience here. Unfortunately, I lost most my photos from this trip but just trust me on this. Reasonably priced food for how dang delicious everything was! Can't wait to return back to Montreal one day, if I do, I'll have to bring in some of my friends to experience such an awesome, sweet place!
