If I could give a negative -5 rating, I would. This company is a complete rip-off. I have not have any problems, with Cricket in 10 years, but as of this week. I tried to pay my bill online, like usual, 3 days, before it was due, on the 1st of June, the website, will NOT take payments, online and has been broken down as of today. I had to pay $5.50 for an IN store charge, and they charged me a late fee, even though I told them, to wavier it, because THEIR website, was not taking on payments, not MY fault, they refused, and would not even wavier the late charge, because I told them, I am waiting for there website to accept payments. I received EXCELLENT customer service at this Cricket Wireless store located in Glendale, Arizona. This Cricket Wireless store is "corporate-owned," and to me -- that makes a big difference in the quality of customer care. As a new Cricket Wireless customer, I needed to transfer (port) my old Straight-Talk cell number to Cricket Wireless. It seemed the folks at Straight Talk were doing everything possible to delay releasing my cell number to Cricket Wireless. While Straight-Talk was making a simple "porting" process unnecessarily complicated, the excellent staff at the Glendale Cricket Wireless hung in there with me for over hour, and they would not take "no" for an answer from Straight-Talk. Finally, thanks to the Cricket store team, the transfer of my cell number to Cricket Wireless prevailed. Over the last five months, I have absolutely enjoyed my new service with Cricket Wireless. For my needs, I find the Cricket Wireless service to be better than Straight-Talk. For the reason of increased data speed alone (LTE), I am pleased to have switched to Cricket, and I would never consider returning to Straight-Talk. read more

I have been a customer of cricket for years. Recently I needed to purchase a new phone and Virginia went above and beyond to help me with getting a new one. She was very patient with me and helped me a lot. So for her customer service I'd give 5 stars. Unfortunately the phone I purchased is defective. I purchased it last Monday and went back to, Monday, 1 week later. The manager refused to replace my phone stating I was a day late! He also stated the district manager was in a meeting so I could not speak to him even the he had just called him. This will be my last phone through Cricket, unfortunately I also added my husband to my account last week, so when it's time for a new phone for one of us we will be looking at a new plan with another carrier. read more

Shady and lacks integrity...what they are keeping on the DL. After going to their store to get issues fixed, asked about the value of trade in. I left never finding out trade in value. Looked up online. In small print below the phone it says to read this info, basically they are switching off the cdma and onto gsm phones. Thus change occurs approx March next year. ANY CDMA phone will no longer work at all. you didn't think they had a triple trade in value on their phones because they are business savy? I saw a guy in the store purchasing over $400 in phones, they didn't even mention it, so when I questioned a cricket rep about it. His arrogant attitude said it all when he said, most people upgrade phones every 6 months and they will continue selling their phones! I am so over the poor service, customer service, poor quality phones, dropped calls, late texts, days late voicemail, no 3g service, and ignorant reps who haven't a clue. My Cricket phone broke, so I needed to get a new one. Went to the Cricket store at 59th Avenue and Bell Rd. in Glendale, AZ next to the Walmart. The phone I had previously, Samsung Prime, was no longer available. The sales guy recommended a ZTE Sonata 3 phone. It was $29.99. My total came to $61.27. When I asked why it was $61 when the phone was only $30, he glossed over an upgrade fee-- didn't really explain it, obviously in a rush to close the sale and get me out the door, BESIDES, The guy said, that.." IF I DIDN'T LIKE THE PHONE I COULD GET MY MONEY BACK". This was on a Wednesday night at about 7:45 PM-- their store closes at 8. Well, I went home that night and started reading reviews, and looking at the phone more closely. The reviews were HORRIBLE. The phone is a complete piece of garbage. Well, the next morning, Thursday at a little after 10 AM-- their store opens at 10, I took the phone back to get a refund-- I had the receipt, the box, etc. Well, I was told that the "upgrade fee" of $25 (plus tax)was non-refundable. Which I was NOT told the night before. Ironic, since the ZTE phone was actually a DOWNGRADE. A gal there with a heavy "Hispanic" accent, said it was on the back of the receipt. Well, the sales guy buried it in the green box, and put it in the brown little bag, and again made no mention of this. So they refunded the $29.99 (plus tax) for the phone, but not the other fee-- which was almost the same as the cheap piece of crapo phone they sold me. These guys are shady, and I will be ending my Cricket service-- I pay $90/month for 2 lines and have been a customer for about 8 months.. So, they lose a customer, that might have stuck with them for years, over trying to SCAM me over some bullsh*t $25 "upgrade fee"... Do not buy a phone from this store.. Go to Best Buy....they sell cricket phones there, and they will not scam you with bullsh*t add on fees. read more
