Asked about our wants needs and desires. She gave us SO MANY unique ideas that were practical and functional. She prevented us from making mistakes and offered great suggestions for what we were trying to accomplish. Catherine and Alex managed the design, measuring and installation coordination. Installation was a dream. We reviewed the designs countless times to make sure everything was designed to perfection. The installation team paid so much attention to every little detail. Alex was here the day the cabinets arrived and installation started, and Catherine came the next day to check the progress.Every cabinet is perfectly level, and every little nailhead was filled in with perfect color match. I do a lot of cooking and canning and this kitchen is my dream come true. It is absolutely beautiful and completely functional. I have a place for everything. The price was very very fair considering it's a 23.5 foot wide kitchen with one wall of cabinet cabinets, a 15' x 4' deep island, a beverage center that is 4' x 18", a balustrade that is 8 foot wide designed by an artist, all the wood trim for the windows and door in the entire Great Room, and a bathroom vanity and linen closet door. Overall, an excellent experience!…read more Before purchasing our bed, I telephoned Bedder Way with questions, and the customer service was great. My call was answered promptly, the person I spoke with was knowledgeable, patient, and cheerful. There was a delay in the bed's arrival, which left us scrambling a bit because we had broken down and gotten rid of our old bed in anticipation of a timely delivery (no room to get the new one in without the old one out). That said, the delivery folks kept us informed about the progress of our delivery. On the day the bed did arrive, the driver was very kind and careful with the handling and placement of the very large (!) box outside because it was too big to deal with inside our tiny home. It was a challenge opening the box and unpacking the bed parts, which was a decidedly Good Thing. All of the pieces were expertly and very solidly packed using wood and solid/strong styrofoam(?) pieces to prevent any scarring or scratching of any of the components. The directions for putting the bed together and installing it were very detailed and useful -- and my oh my, it is so comfortable - much more so than our former bed even though we used our existing mattress. We sleep on it every night, often closing it during the day to give us more room, plus it keeps the bed nice. I am small and 70 yo and can easily handle taking the bed up and down. There are two slight challenges: one is remembering that the legs at the foot of the bed stick out a bit when the bed is open, so it can be tough on your shins if you aren't mindful; the other is changing the bed -- it's a bit difficult (but, of course, doable) to get the fitted sheet on at the top of the mattress because the enclosure does not leave a lot of room to maneuver; and, caution is needed when one lifts the bottom of the mattress to put on the sheets and tuck in the bedding because the bed frame pops up in an effort to close because there is no weight on it at the moment. The only disappointment was the lights, which are add-on purchases, and not built into the bed itself. The "neck" on one of them isn't sufficiently stiff to hold the lamp in position. That said, it was not enough of an issue to bother Bedder Way about it, and we are managing. :-) [Bedder Way saw our review and sent a new lamp!! Another feather in their cap!] All in all, the Bedder Way Murphy bed was the perfect choice for a senior couple who radically downsized and moved into a tiny 1930 build duplex to be near family and within walking distance to all the necessary amenities (stores, medical offices, public transportation, etc.). We are now considering a Bedder Way side cabinet when we are able to manage it. :-)

From there, things only got worse. She kept our furniture for nine months and in all that time only completed one of the three pieces. Even worse, she started that one piece with the wrong fabric, which meant there wasn't enough left for the other items. I called regularly--every few weeks--and was met with excuse after excuse. When we finally got the "finished" piece back, the quality was disappointing. The fabric pattern wasn't aligned, and it was not completed as we had discussed. Then, to top it all off, she tried to charge us even more than originally agreed, claiming it was "more work than expected." In the end, we had to take our furniture elsewhere: one piece to be fixed, and the other two to be done from scratch. It's incredibly disheartening to have such a poor experience, especially when trying to support a small business. I absolutely would not recommend.

I paid them $200.00, before I saw the rug, when I ask why the rug was not cleaned, the owner told me they had to really SWEEP it to get the dirt out. So, they charged me $200.00, to do that. I was shocked and not to mention disappointed. My rug is still not cleaned. Who do I trust to clean it after a so called reputable company treats me like my business or even the type of service they rendered did not matter?

I was referred online that any upholstery shop should be able to install it pretty easily, because the cover is already made to fit the seat and foam. In the past (old town where I lived) I would pay about 20-30 bucks to have a cover put on and never had an issue. Like I said I was new to the area and found this place online. I brought the seat and cover over and already had the old cover off of the seat. So the job would include only installing the new cover on the seat. The guy inside was pretty nice, said the seats are kind of tricky to do but he could make it look really nice for fifty bucks. I was already there and had the seat so I got him to forty to put it on and "look really nice". I got a call in a few days from someone else who was friendly and said my seat was done. I came and picked it up and was not really happy. It had a lot more wrinkles then I was used to seeing but I thought maybe it was just the cover I had purchased this time so I sent a pic to the guy that made the cover. He agreed the seat looked totally unacceptable and recommended I take the cover off and could probably do a better job myself. I took the cover off and brought it to a place about an hour away that have done them for me before and the cover now looks perfect. Not a single wrinkle to be found.
