Went in for drug screen for my company. Office staff was prompt and polite. Easy to get in and out quickly.

I highly do not recommend, going here I was just seen this past sunday and 2 days later I'm worse than I initially was . I come back with my son and they tell me I have a past due balance of $11,000 and some dollars and they can't see me . mean while I was just seen and if I was seen 4 times in 2024 and the insurance wasn't verified that's on the front desk receptionist , not me this was overall a distasteful situation and to think the supervisor who brought this to my attention had red Wendy girl hair . I arrived at the doctor at 8am when they opened and was the first one in the clinic. I took three tests and was waiting on a response from anyone until 9:15 when I was told that all of my tests were negative but I couldn't get shots until I was seen by the doc. The doctors/practitioners were in a provider meeting until 9:30 and couldn't see patients until after that time. read more

Regular doc was sick today so I went to Crimson Care on Veterans. The staff and Dr Evans were so friendly. Had a bad ear infection and sinus infection. Dr. Evans was really great. I would definitely come back here again. read more

Sam was completely unprofessional and rude to me and provided absolutely no help, Crimson Care is embarrassing and a joke of a medical facility because meds are never called in, you can never get in touch with anyone, and wait times are ridiculous. 05/30/2024 9:00 am I Arrived and checked in to have a physical done with a friend of mine who was being seen for a different reason (unbeknownst to the back staff) . The receptionist said it would be $60 & to fill out my portion of the physical! I filled it out & paid the $60 and wait to be called to the back! When the medical assistant called me to the back she had me standing in the hallway while she finished another task with another medical personnel (the provider), who happened to be on the phone with a PATIENT Talking about her medical information, mind you I'm still standing in the hallway waiting to be placed in a room! I drop my AirPods which got the attention on the medical assistant who then asked what I was being seen for; I let her know I the form really required was a medical professional's acknowledgment with a signature! The Medical Assistant Let The Room Didn't close the door so I could hear the nurse practitioner (provider) saying that since I had my medical records from the health department ..in her words.." if that's who did em that's where she needa take them to be signed" with all the attitude in the world! So when the medical assistant came back the room & conveyed what she said which I already heard I said okay! Thank you & she showed me the way out! As I'm leaving I ask the receptionist for a refund because I wasn't serviced! She claimed she didn't know how to do that so she had to go to the back to ask someone else! The Let me know they didn't know how to do a refund & they would figure it out, so I had a seat until they did. I Hear my name coming from the medical assistant to the back, I'm thinking it's for my refund or receipt so I start to follow her! The medical assistant turns and says she gonna sign your paper know I guess! I said wait what? She just said she couldn't sign it but now she can because she can't figure out how to give me a refund? I said nooooo thank you this has been unprofessional enough I just want my money back so I can go home! The "provider " so she calls herself comes up front in front of the office there are at least 4 other people in the waiting room besides myself & says that refunds gonna take a min & I say what's a minute? She proceeds to get loud saying it could take all day! I said I won't what's your name & corporate's number! The provider didn't give her name or number! So I can the receptionist who says I've had an attitude the whole time when I ask for a receipt & the providers name! I Mentioned I was there with my friend earlier because as she is in the back the provider is saying how she not gonna give my receipt because I have a attitude and being difficult when I've been none of those things they have! All I did was ask for a refund! I'm very disgusted with everyone in the office & I am a person of color but that entire office is unprofessional down to the receptionist! Waited an hour in an empty waiting room and another hour and a half for the doctor to come see me. The doctor didn't spend any time walking me through the medication she prescribed. I picked up my prescription and noticed I was prescribed 2 of the same medicine. I took both but asked the pharmacist and he said that was definitely wrong. Long story short Mallory Nichols over prescribed me and now I'm having stomach issues. I called Crimson Care and asked if this was correct. They said definitely no and I should stop taking the medication. If it was a more serious medication, this could have been deadly. Will never visit Crimson Care again. Do not trust them with your health. read more

I had a great experience this week at Crimson Care. I can't complain about a wait because we arrived just as the clinic was opening and were the first in line. The check-in process was quick and easy, and before long we were seeing the PA, John. All of the staff we came into contact with at the location were friendly and efficient. John seemed very knowledgeable on pretty much anything we asked him about and explained the results of a few tests that came back immediately. All in all a great visit and I'd definitely come back again. read more

My daughter went to the one on Skyland Blvd She has severe pain in her leg and just needed for someone to send her for an MRI. Well they didn't do anything but another steroid shot ( knowing she already had 2 this week ) but still did it any way. She handed out jars (not cups) with no lids and once she got the sample she smelled it and said it does not smell like pee. Well maybe she has Covid. But why is she smelling it anyway. Staff was super nice- not their fault at all. My daughter and I waited for an hour and a half at this location on 1/16/2020 .Staff eventually told us the Dr was not in, yes I said not in!!! The clinic was open without a Dr. in the facility. Staff was nit aware when she would return. I work during the week, and have been going here for years when I or a family member need after hours care. This past Sunday my 6 year old son had a high temperature, so Crimson Care was our first choice. Even though there were several people ahead of us in line when we arrived, the wait was minimal. The staff is very competent, friendly, and efficient. They put our child (and my wife at ease), and took great care of us. Happy to give them a five star rating. read more

This was a terrible experience, I'm not from the area and never have seen a place like this . I waited 2 hrs there an hr in a small room waiting for this dr to come in . I sat there and listened to the dr and about 6 other staff members stand by my door laughing and joking around for a good solid 30+ minutes. I finally open door and ask if anyone's coming in to see me and then the dr looks over and says I was just coming in to see you right now .He came in asked me a few questions with no testing at all and told me to go get two over the counter prescriptions . They will not answer your phone calls or messages. I didn't get my medicine until the day after my appointment. They gave me a medicine that I had an allergic reaction to and never answered my messages to call me in a different medicine. I now have to go to another Dr and start all over again and all the test again. They don't ever answer the phone or left messages. You have to go there in person 3 days later to get your Covid test results. read more

The absolute worst experience I've ever had at a doctors office. I would give it 0 stars if I could. This place deserves to be shut down immediately. I came in with pneumonia and at first they told me I had a sinus infection. After me finally convincing them to give me a chest X-ray they finally figured out that I do have pneumonia and proceeded to not proscribe me antibiotics but instead only proscribed me nausea medicine. I do not understand how a licensed doctor could be so idiotic. On top of all that every staff member was extremely rude except for a single nurse that was sweet and she is the only one there who deserves to continue working as a Heath care worker all of the others do not have the people skills, kindness, or even the basic knowledge needed to continue in this field. read more

PA Mr Keeling helped me with all my health issues, he answered my questions with great patience and knowledge. He is very professional on his job, and goes very thoroughly on health check. I came in on September 29th and was greeted with warmth and comfort. I had been to 4 other clinics that day and none of them could take me due to poor management. I got back into a room quickly and they immediately tested me for covid and strep because my symptoms lined up with both. They got my results back quick (negative). The Nurse Practitioner came in and was very sweet and too the point. She prescribed some medicine and I was out in under an hour. read more

Do NOT visit this location. The wait is quick because the care is insufficient. I have been prescribed medication I'm allergic to by this doctor multiple times, almost given a shot of medication that could have put me in the hospital- AFTER explicitly sharing these allergies and the severity of them multiple times. I have also visited with specific requests for resources and have been ignored completely by the doctor. It's a waste of a copay- go anywhere else. read more

Crimson Urgent Care in Tuscaloosa is the most expensive clinic I've ever walked into. The Dr I recently saw for a sinus infection was very nice, but even with my insurance the bills keep coming in. There are several other walk-in clinics in the Tuscaloosa/Northport area. Unless you're 'stupid rich', I'd avoid this place. Even the ER would probably have treated my sinus infection cheaper. read more

My baby boy had to wait two hours to see the doctor who only came in for five minutes. It was hot and my son was in so much pain. He couldn't stop crying and when the doctor finally came in he asked if I could get him to stop crying. The nurses were nice as anyone can be which helped me keep my cool. That doctor was horrible and I don't recommend anyone going here. He didn't answer any of my questions about my sons medication. read more

I went to Crimson Care for Covid 19 testing on February 26. For some reason my iPhone would not let their calls through to me. However, this did not stop them from helping me, one very nice young lady came out to verify who I was and have me pull up for my test, then another nice young lady came out to test me and finally a third nice young lady brought me my test results! I've been using Crimson Urgent Care for years...today's experience is the straw that broke the camels back. The Nurse Practitioner Bridget Smith has been there every time I go lately. She's very abrasive, pushy, rude and curt. She's seems to have forgotten we are the patrons and pay her wages. I'm not willing to pay anyone to rough me up verbally and bully me.
