We actually traveled for over 2 months this summer, and this was by far our favorite stop. Within 10 minutes of arriving, we extended our stay for another week. Just beautiful and peaceful and relaxing on the lake with so much to do. And the owners were friendly and gracious. The whole property is so well kept, and the cabin itself had all the amenities you could need. Lots of special, unexpected touches - like ingredients for making s'mores at the nightly campfire. One night, they put up a big screen and played a kid-friendly movie. Also, wifi was great everywhere on the property. Plenty to do nearby - hiking trails, Whitefish, Glacier National Park (of course). We picked huckleberries! Can't wait to go back!

The horses here are very well-trained and the wranglers ensure you are taken care of and matched with a horse of your size and skillset. The owner has taken great care in assembling a fantastic crew and a very efficient layout so that things run smoothly. They are quick to respond to concerns either with diet or activities (though I had none myself). This ranch is absolutely a must visit if you love Natural Style Horsemanship or just want to learn it.
