Shayla, our host, texted us ahead of time to make sure we were all set for a smooth check-in. That small gesture alone made us feel genuinely cared for. Each day, Shayla prepared the most delicious homemade baked goods, which made us feel like we were at a home away from home. Since we planned to head to Glacier National Park early each day, she kindly packed to-go breakfasts for us--always thoughtful, fresh, and satisfying. On the mornings we stayed in, she served beautiful homemade breakfasts that were just as delicious. The extra touches throughout the lodge made our stay even more special--the self-serve charcuterie, fresh fruit, and beverages were such a nice bonus. The lodge itself was peaceful and quiet, which we really appreciated. We stayed for five nights and can confidently say this was one of our favorite places we've ever stayed. There are 2 wings to the hotel; one of which has nicely renovated rooms that are up to date. The other is not renovated and though very clean is pretty much like an economy hotel. I was charge $300+ and was not happy about this room at all go that cost but that's on me I guess to have made this choice. Checking in - 3 people at the desk, no greeting and only one was doing check ins and it took (not kidding) 15 minutes (management???). Beautiful bar/restaurant that really fits with the Montana vibe. Had drinks here -$20+ for a Negroni? Breakfast option is only a buffet, nothing else. It's ok at best. Nothing unique at all. Cost - $28. The area on one side is gorgeous lining a golf course. Looks like an event facility has been added in the back for weddings etc. beautiful. Transportation to the airport is provided at $23/person. Service at check out was much better. I should mention they have a small indoor pool and an outdoor hot tub.

The property is based on a lake with so many activities like kayaking etc . There is a gated pool area for people who are staying at the lodge itself. If I was to return, I definitely would possibly stay here as it is close to lots of different trails and amenities and access to the lake which is absolutely stunning and is a must do. Brian (part of the staff) greeted us on Day 1, and he was there just about all of the time. He was extremely, extremely helpful. And extremely, extremely nice. Service like this goes a long way. Some special notes which made this place way, way above your typical hotel stay (as compared to mainstream brands like Hilton or Marriot).. The room(s) were impeccable with detail. Everything from the chairs outside of the rooms, the towels, folding the beds/pillows etc... You could tell they put a custom touch on. The breakfast was nothing short of delicious staring with the coffee, which was excellent quality coffee. Not farmer bros or max house, this stuff was top tier. (I am a coffee snob and do strictly pour overs only at home). Breakfast burritos were delicious. And the huckleberry jam and bread was excellent. You get a REAL breakfast here. We drove for over 11hrs to get here. We arrived later that evening. There were piles of mosquitoes everywhere and more flying outside and inside the cabin. There were urine stains in the rugs and the smell was bad. The master bedroom floor was visibly damaged.The property looked nothing like advertised. Weeds were high all around the perimeter up to the cabin. We contacted the manager, Connie I believe. She said maintenance could remove the rug. That's all. Not sure how that addresses all those issues. We explained due to unsafe health conditions considering my wife's situation there was no way we could stay. We were over 1700 miles from home now stuck with looking for somewhere else to stay. We never stayed there, only walked thru the door for a few minutes. Luckily we found a place over an hour away. Donna, the host thru Airbnb offered us a refund of $1010. Charging us a cleaning fee and taxes on the days we never stayed a single night. We are currently disputing the charges. We sent out emails to the different ALS/MS organizations notifying them of the poor treatment at this property. The absence of service is astounding. We attempted to call the property over a dozen times no answer. Buyer beware, don't stay here. Unless they look hard at their policies and treatment of people with disabilities. No Go- MVP

Its a bit out of the way in Kalispell between farms, with narrow/tricky streets to contend with. It was a good 15-20 minutes from most of what Kalispell has to offer (Walmart/Shopping/Etc...) and about 35-40 minutes from the entrance to West Glacier. Pro's: 1) One of the cheapest options in Kalispell. 2) Good amount of kids for our boys to play with. 3) Quiet in the back where our site was located. 4) You can wash your RV & Truck!!! Rare these days 5) TMobile was fast enough we didn't need to get out the Starlink. Neutral: 1) Staff was cordial, but I wouldn't say friendly. Had mail sent here (we asked prior and was given the ok). When we went to pick it up, the lady at the front desk told us she was lucky she didn't throw it out as they normally don't accept mail. Packages (Amazon, etc....) are fine but I guess standard mail isn't? 2) Playground is *meh*. Metal slide, so avoid on hot days. Boys mostly played around the swimming pond. Con's: 1) Our particular site was quite muddy, as it rained quite a bit. Others didn't seem as bad. They need to add more gravel to the rear, larger sites. 2) The park has "Seasonal" sites to the side, and double wide trailers (permanent I assume), along with storage facilities and finally the RV park with some cabins built on site. The seasonal area was *rough*. Most of the campers were old & dilapidated with trash and random stuff strewn around. The double wides area were a bit better. Both brought down the feel of this RV park. 3) Trash can's at the rear were overflowing and piling up outside and around. 4) Tree placement on the pull throughs was not ideal. Instead of being able to pull through and go with the flow of traffic, we had to kindly ask our neighbor if they could move their truck so we could pull out and go against the grain so we didn't scrape up the side & roof of our rig. Overall, we wouldn't stay here again. We'd stay closer to Glacier, down in Polson, or somewhere up near Whitefish. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
