For those on cycles, the each carport could easily handle 4 bikes if parked thoughtfully. They are also paved, but the road leading in to them is hard packed gravel. It was still easy to navigate on the bike. The place is in a very quiet area, with beautiful scenery all around. I liked the chairs out on the porch to rest and just chill. The Trapper Saloon is just down the street and is kid friendly. There are more food choices a little further into town. The room itself was decent. Not the most updated place for charging devices. The carpet was well used and little things like the bathroom missing a toilet paper holder are what to expect. (They did have a sticky on it to apologize.) The room I was in had a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, not Keurig type as advertised. No biggie to me though. When checking in, the woman at the desk was very friendly and they have an assortment of local ware for sale there. Overall a good experience.

It's a peaceful lodge tucked away in a corner of the property that has a serene porch that we sat out on each night with views of the mountains. The room cleanliness was impeccable - much cleaner than any chain hotel I've stayed at. The housekeeping staff even left hand written notes for us, and went above and beyond in making sure all of the guests needs were not just met but exceeded when we needed help. You will not meet a more pleasant front desk staff who was genuinely excited to talk to you each day and answer any of your questions! The drive to the entrance of west glacier was maybe 5 minutes - perfect for quick access to the park. 2) We did the fly fishing all day tour which I would highly recommend. I would be amiss without mentioning our guide Chaney by name. He reached out to us ahead of time and was extremely kind and flexible - adapting to any requests I had to make the trip personalized. And he was amazing during the actual guide! He had us laughing, smiling and learning so much throughout the whole day. And he did it all while rowing us down rapids!! His knowledge of the local wildlife was impressive and you can tell he truly cares deeply about what he does. Not to mention the beauty of the river itself - it would have been worth it to go just for the views, and getting to fish while doing it was even better! All in all - exceptional place, I plan to re-book for my next visit in the area.

The property is based on a lake with so many activities like kayaking etc . There is a gated pool area for people who are staying at the lodge itself. Ok so I admit that the first time I went to Wilderness Club about a year ago I had mixed…read morefeelings... the setting was gorgeous but the staff was not very helpful. That was during COVID. Roll forward a year, and boy what a change! I have now been there twice in two months and even bought a piece of land to develop there, that's how much I love it. Here is what I encountered... First of all, I'm not a golfer. My family and I were looking for a break and vacation. The first time, I stayed at the main lodge. Accommodations were ok. Two queen beds per room with a bathroom. Four bedrooms per side of the lodge (two sides total) with a nice communal area in the middle that has a gorgeous fireplace, living room and dining table. I had to ask for my room to get cleaned which during COVID was a pain and they didn't seem to have enough staff to accommodate. Things have really turned around. The last two times I have stayed in cottages instead-- I highly suggest going this route! The bedrooms are just as roomy as the rooms in the lodge but they are full cottages with private kitchens and living rooms and gorgeous private decks that have dining table, BBQ, and jacuzzi. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are well stocked. The kitchens have everything I've needed to cook (minus food-- but the store is just a few minutes of driving away). Most importantly, you go there for the setting. It's special. The wilderness club is set in the middle of mountains, at the foothills of Glacier National Park... so much sky, lakes, nature-- there are deer and wild turkeys walking around. The setting itself is peaceful, quiet, restocking. The people there are friendly-- everyone waves as you walk by. The staff is attentive and bends over backwards. If you get to chat with the owners of the resort, you will see that they are passionate about what they are building-- a luxury resort in the middle of one of the most stunning natural areas ever. And they respect the land, the people, the setting. During the summer, there are tons of activities for families. When we were there last week, there was live music at the Club during dinner. And on Fridays they set up for movies in the meadow where they roast marshmallow and show family friendly flicks. Nearby is the town of Eureka (5-10 minute drive)-- which has a charming little downtown with old fashioned looking stores. There's a couple of stores that sell local produce and meats. I loved it so much I decided to buy a plot of land there. I want my kids to go back for years, to experience what it's like to disconnect each summer, to make friends and run around in the grass and fields. You will spend your days taking in the beauty, talking walks, leaving electronics behind. This is a place you come to restock your soul.

The staff there was incredibly nice, particularly Brandy at the front desk and Tina at the restaurant -- they were helpful, friendly, and very efficient. The bar had a great beer & wine selection, and the food was delicious -- breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A great experience all around!

The two rental properties are beautifully furnished with everything one needs for a stay. All you need to do is buy the food, if you want to do your own cooking. There is a Costco in town. We had to volume buy because we had 15 people. The property in the front is across the road from the lake. Lovely views especially in the morning. Well, the views are lovely all day long, but it was perfect to wake up to them in the morning and to drink my coffee on the porch. Quiet and lovely. I highly recommend this property.

Shayla, our host, texted us ahead of time to make sure we were all set for a smooth check-in. That small gesture alone made us feel genuinely cared for. Each day, Shayla prepared the most delicious homemade baked goods, which made us feel like we were at a home away from home. Since we planned to head to Glacier National Park early each day, she kindly packed to-go breakfasts for us--always thoughtful, fresh, and satisfying. On the mornings we stayed in, she served beautiful homemade breakfasts that were just as delicious. The extra touches throughout the lodge made our stay even more special--the self-serve charcuterie, fresh fruit, and beverages were such a nice bonus. The lodge itself was peaceful and quiet, which we really appreciated. We stayed for five nights and can confidently say this was one of our favorite places we've ever stayed.
