My…read morePhilly cheesesteak inspired sandwich was truly excellent, with warm, juicy flavorful beef and rich cheese curds, nicely balanced by green bell peppers and onions and bound together by a mild garlic aioli on perfect sandwich bread. Also got a slightly spicy and crisp coleslaw for a cool contrast and a minor dose of vitamins. My tablemates were also really pleased with their orders (a vaguely East Asian glazed chicken with pickled Banh Mi-style veggies and a cold roast beef with arugula--must try those next). Wow. Nice, high quality sandwiches. I actually went here two…read moredays in a row while staying in Cambridge. The first day I ordered two sandwiches, the Porchetta and the Jerk Chicken. The Porchetta sandwich has nice roasted pork and a crispy strip of pork skin to top it off. The description says it has a salsa verde sauce. To me, it was more like a pesto-style sauce. The pork was all meat and didn't have any globs of fat that you sometimes find in American pulled pork barbecue. The Jerk Chicken Sandwich was the weekly special. It consisted of several pieces of skin-on mostly dark meat chicken, house made slaw and I think a little mayo. I took off the chicken skin. It wasn't crispy and I don't care for much chicken skin. Even doing that, it had good flavor. A nice blend of spices and a little spiciness. I didn't eat it right away but it was still good. Like I said, I ordered this sandwich the next day. This time I ate it soon after ordering. The roll was still warm and slightly crunchy. I liked even more when eating it "fresh." I removed the skin on this one too. I used the take out window on the side and they were pretty quick, even though there were about four or five people in front of me. I'll definitely go back when in town and craving a sandwich.

Love that the locals come here everyday and know they can get the best sandwich or hot food from here! Whenever a restaurant opens I expect some teething problems, but Nando's problems have persisted for almost one year and I expect they won't get any better. We have tried phoning our orders in advance for my husband to collect and every time he's returned home to find that we are missing several dishes or have some wrong items. Now, some would ask why he didn't check the order after the first or second time the restaurant made the same mistake . We have tried dining in at weekend lunch-times, found the service to be pitifully slow and quite often receive the wrong orders. Is it just us?! I don't understand why they should have such problems - they only serve chicken! All of the staff are really friendly, stopping to make a fuss of the kids and making sure that they've got crayons and colouring paper when our meals seem to be taking a long time, but friendly staff is not a good enough reason to give this place any more chances.

As far as food is concerned, the Bobby Jo's team also know their stuff when it comes to burgers. Their offering is made on site to a Bobby Jo's recipe, and it's fantastic. Good beef has been used, and the patties are fat and well seasoned. Each time I've dined here, the burgers have maintained their standard and flavour. You can have a classic burger, but their San Fransisco option is equally delicious. The standard fries eaten on my most recent visit weren't up to the previous standard, although my companions adored the curly fries. The milkshakes are out of this world, and come in all sorts of flavours while worth the wait, I did feel the service was a bit slow when it came to the shakes.
