We hired him to trim a huge prominent valley oak as well as a Blue oak at our Green House. He took great care to not disturb the surrounding landscaping. Both jobs were tight and complicated to work within. He is very agile, strong and competent. He handled the chain saw and controlled the cut limbs with exceptional care. Impressive to say the least. He has great knowledge of trees and gave us some good advise to help some fruit trees live well. He has great equipment and an a hard working assistant. They made this a very easy process. Another impressive quality he answers his phone. This was not true with a few other people I had called that were posted on other websites. My partner has used other tree services over the past 17 years in Lake County. The quality of his work is high end. His pricing is more than fair. I tried to get as much as I could get off, even put a ladder on the roof up against the tree... Not smart! After calling a few people around the lake and getting the runaround or ghosted after a conversation - James@ACE came out and and told me it was not of their our nature to do such small trees but he did it anyway let me name my own price, showed up five minutes before he was supposed to be here and was done in 20 minutes carried off all of the trunk and branches that were left. Definitely would recommend this company to anyone up here at the lake and not mess around with the others!
