At his suggestion, we were able to source the upholstery fabric from Hart's Upholstery and he worked with 2 remnants we found. My experience with this shop was perfect. My dog literally ate my couch- or rather, a corner of a chaise cushion. Pino had the great idea to take a piece from an area that wouldn't show, and then use a replacement fabric where it wouldn't be seen anyway. The work was done in a couple days and looks flawless. My mom took a chair in to get replacement springs and a new cushion. Not a big job at all, and she was quoted at $200-300 which is more than she wanted to pay but figured it would be worth it if the job was done right. When she went to get the chair a week later he told her it had taken longer than expected and the bill would be $450! That's nearly what the chair costs. When I asked him how many hours it took him he hesitated to reply and I could tell he was adding up the time in his head to justify this outrageous amount. My mom should have gotten a quote in writing but she didn't expect this guy to take advantage of her like this. The work was done well but again it wasn't a very hard job.
