Nate was awesome! Took the ACLS to supplement my resume for future travel nursing jobs. You do modules to get comfortable with the information prior to attending class. Get the ACLS book to get familiar with the decision making charts. The morning of class you sign in, watch refresher videos, and do the hands on simulations. We did it as a group and verbalized what we were doing while using the decision chart for the patient. After that, you do a 50 question test and pass the class! I had an appointment at this place and arrived about 10 minutes prior. I went upstairs and got to the door and it was locked. I called the phone number that was listed and the answering machine said they were closed. I knocked twice and no one answered so I left. The next day I called during business hours and they said that the times on the answering machine don't correlate to the actual business hours...yet she couldn't provide an explanation as to why no one opened the door or why the door was locked during business hours. I was also charged a rescheduling fee for "not showing up" to my appointment. read more

Don't come here, they won't ensure you get your CPR/BLS card, they'll reply only when they feel like it if you are having issues. Just like a other review stated this place is either a scam or inept in their technology skills so beware, had to go to another place in Ontario instead which had way better equipment, setting, and instructor. I miss their old location but this one isnt bad. Turn into the center with the El Pollo Loco off of Sierra. On their telephone automated greeting , When you press "4" for office hours, it does not tell you office hours but your OLD ADDRESS off the 210 fwy. Dont listen to that. The address is 9161 Sierra Ave Suite 212, Fontana, CA 92335. The class itself is still stress free. Done one person at a time for COVID precautions. The only difficulty is on healthstream (NRP website), after you complete part 1, you are supposed to click on a Live event (in person test) and they dont come up in a search for Fontana. This class advertised as an in person class. It was not. It required a desk top computer and for you to download a bootleg zoom app with a key code that did not work. I tried twice, contacted them got a new key code the same thing happened again. I bought this class with in 24hrs of class. I emailed them and said I couldnt Make it work to take the online portion, so It did no good to to the skills lad the next day so I emailed as was the policy and asked that they please refund my money. They wouldn't give me a refund, she kept sending me the 48 hour cancelation policy. Crooks. Taking peoples money for nothing. Don't take this complicated entrapment designed to steal you money. This company is either fraudulent or inept. I suggest all stay clear. My daughter signed up for their $600 online EKG technician course. The course requires work submissions that are to be graded before advancing to subsequent modules. After putting in a significant amount of time, her work has not been reviewed at all for several weeks. Multiple emails, texts, and phone calls have gone unanswered. At this point she can not advance within the course and it has been nothing but a waste of time and a lot of money. read more

If affordability of certification is an issue, their price for the certification is definitely cheaper than many other places. However, if you want to actually learn something from the certification, I don't recommend this place. They have a website for registration, and it's easy to use, you can pay online or before class. When I took ACLS, the instructor kept walking out of the room, and we spent the first few hours watching video clips from American Heart Association. Which was alright besides the fact that she kept forgetting to come back until 10-15 minutes after the clip was cover or the clip paused. Which made it seem like there was little effort given to the students who wants to learn. Even when reviewing over the charts on what to do when an individual has a abnormality, the instructor goes by super fast, and I was lost half way through. During lunch we decided on whether or not we should take a 30 min or one hour lunch. After decided on the 30 minutes lunch, the instructor took another 40 minutes to come back. Basically making the students waste 40 minutes when we couldve either 1) taken our time to eat and 2) not be constantly looking at the door or questioning where our instructor were. Majority of the things on the test was not even mentioned during the teaching. Overall, its very disappointing. I came out of the class not learning much about ACLS. I also took PALs there, I got to say that the instructor was much more attentive, however, I also did not learn much about it because the instructor keeps walking out of the class and then come back 5-10 minutes after the video is over to switch to the next clip. read more

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!! I called to cancel a class and request a refund 3 days prior to my course. They directed me to an email to which I finished my request for cancellation and refund. They NEVER refunded me and stated that I did not give 48 hours notice which was a lie!! Their customer service is non-existent. The only representative I spoke to hung up on me when I was trying to tell her that I was entitled to my refund according to the dates of my email. If you're trying to learn cpr for the first time...please go somewhere it's taken seriously so that you can actually perform high quality cpr. Prices are reasonable but don't expect to stay in longer than 10 - 20 minutes for skills portions. Instructors lack in getting to know students and were very straightforward to rush. Yes, sometimes people want their certificates with a short class, but not everyone wants to leave too soon. It sucks to pay money for a certificate when you hardly learned anything in the actual class. Both instructors, on separate occasions, didn't present their names. Sometimes their door is locked so make sure to knock loudly, or call their number and find the front desk # on the phone line. They need to have a name on their door and on the 1st level directory. read more

Worst experience ever! I had an issue receiving my certification because of an error on their end...not a big deal at first... However, I had to make multiple phone calls and send emails to have this fixed. After writing the company an email literally begging for help and expressing my frustrations they finally fixed it after almost an entire month. Their response was extremely brief and only said instructions on how to retrieve my cert was sent. They did not even acknowledge any my frustrations or apologize for the situation that was completely their doing. I'm absolutely appalled at their lack of concern for their customer. read more

This is my favorite critical acls and bls education course. I came in having reviewed the AHA book and the class setting was conducive to retention and comprehension of critical processes required to pass the course. The electronic mega code set up had everything needed to respond to the different scenarios presented. Group input and was encouraged and post scenarios were discussed which helped reinforce and maximize the absorption of critical information. Helpful in understanding the test questions after and most of all passing it!. Great job Aura! read more

If you are planning on taking their Basic Arrhythmia Recognition class here please consider the following: They do not have an instructor for this class and I was unable to get the certificate I needed in time. I registered for the class on December 12th and finished the online portion of this class the following day. I called to schedule an appointment for the in class portion of this call and they did not have an instructor available for the whole month on December. We are now heading towards the end on January and I have no heard of an instructor being available. I called multiple times and even left my information in order to be contacted once an instructor is available. One more thing, it was mentioned that I was supposed to get a certificate online one the online portion was done but this was also unavailable. The lady who answers the phone continues to give me the runaround. This happened previously four months ago as well. It took me almost two weeks just to get cards because they "misplaced" them and then she gave me a bunch of excuses they gave me the cards and plain pieces of paper that they cut out cards with scissors. I called yesterday trying to get replacements because the paper is already worn since it wasn't printed out properly and the same thing happened again. I have been trying to get cards for two days and she keeps changing her story from several months ago now saying she can't give me cards even though she's given them to me in the past. Then she said she can't print them out as she has no authority she said but she printed them out on a plain piece of paper the last time. Continuously says she'll call you back in 30 minutes which is her most famous line and never does and once you ask for a manager she conveniently stops answering the phone. Let's talk about our instructor. Our instructor showed up late the last two years and did a crash course in 40 minutes which was supposed to be a two hour class. Did not even do the class right as I videotaped it and half the time he kept walking out and texting on his phone. Since my issue is not getting resolved I will have to handed over to the American heart Association and let them deal with it.
