Sometimes it seems like other games that were supported have fallen to the wayside, and are not nearly as supported as they once were. We came here to look at some D&D merchandise. They had an enormous selection of minis, paints, specialty brushes, scenery, kits, books... plus they have tables and private rooms for campaigns. Josh, Zain and Acker were extremely helpful in scaling back what we thought we needed (we were a bit overzealous). There is an impressive selection of board games for sale. They even have large tables and comfy chairs available if you'd like to try out the game before you buy it. Who does that? Everyone is so nice and helpful. You can easily spend an entire day there. I just recently got into Warhammer in the last 8 or so months. I didn't realize there was a game store so close to me. I went in a few months ago with a friend who was also staring out in the Warhammer space. The owner of the store was super nice and insightful. He talked us through the starting process for painting miniatures. Gave us all sorts of info on what brushes, washes, shades etc. that we would or might need for a good job. I have been in a couple more times recently to browse and to look for anything I might need. I have always been greeted kindly when entering. There is usually a group of people playing a tabletop game or setting up to play. During my first visit, one person came over to show us their Tau minis that they painted, to help give a real life example of what the owner was currently discussing. I also managed to find a Tau Kill Team box for like $40 or so, great find imo. As long as I am in the area, this will be my #1 stop for all my tabletop needs. read more

This store is amazing, I go for the weekly Adventurers League games, and I've always felt welcome. Some game stores can be uncomfortable for anyone who's not a straight white cisgender dude, but Critical Hit Games has been nothing but friendly and inclusive. Adventurers League is every Sunday starting at 4pm, for those who want to try playing D&D. It's $1 per person to play for regulars, and first-timers play free, last I heard. They provide character sheets, log sheets, and even pre-generated characters if you're curious but don't want to dive into character creation right away. You'll want to show up early if you can, in order to get the best pick of the tables, but $1 for several hours of gaming is an amazing deal. They also have cold drinks and snacks, though their minimum for card purchases is $5, so if all you have is a card, your best options are to also buy snacks for your friends and have them pay you back, or just give in and get yourself a new set of dice while you're at it. I had dabbled with table top card gaming on and off for about ten years, the atmosphere of most stores was a real turn off, Until about a year and a half ago. I walked in to check out the location and it was one of the cleanest, and best smelling game stores I had ever been in. Believe it or not, these are all very important factors when you're going to be gaming in a store for hours at a time. To make it even better the store owner was one of the most welcoming humans, who makes you feel right at home at entry. The Magic community here is diverse with casual and competitive players and I've been playing at this store ever since. They also have a large Warmachine community which is worth mentioning. read more

Fantastic game store with a lot of classic games to boot. Place has a great atmosphere and the staff are excellent.

They are great. Have 2 clean restroom and have snacks and COLD soda on site. Great place to game as they have a huge amount of space. They are RPG friendly as well. I have been part of a few campaigns that have lasted well over a year each. they always found room for us. can get pretty much what you want and have it waiting when you come in on the weekend. the plaza they are in had 4-5 great places for food. You can even get food delivered to the store. I can't say how amazing the places is. try it once and you will be set. read more
