Do not use this company. I worked with them about a year ago when a squirrel was getting into my box gutters. They installed a trap on the roof, but never caught anything. The problem was not resolved, and I was still charged $1,200. Now the squirrel is back in the exact same spot, which makes it clear the issue was never properly addressed. It was an expensive and frustrating experience with no real results. I would not recommend Critter Control. read more

They were very professional up until the contract was signed!!!! I could write a book on how bad the experience was, but i think the pictures i have attached will explain it all... Finally able to get in contact with management (whoever runs their yelp page responds faster than anyone else from the company in any other form of communication). Turns out they did not measure my chimney when they gave me an estimate 2 weeks ago and could not provide the chimney cap originally planned because it would have taken 1-2 weeks for the part to arrive and be installed. We were on a tight time table because the house was being sold and it had to be installed by the end of the original estimate window. They offered an alternative, but couldn't get confirmation one way or another about the alternative actually being possible or installed in time (communication was severely lacking from them across the board). We were able to get another vendor to commit to the work faster and more cost effectively than Critter Control. Grateful to get a refund for the work not done, but still would advise against using them if at all possible. Second vendor also surprised at what we were quoted and gave us a lot more options. read more

I should have looked up reviews before I agreed to this service. Two weeks ago we engaged this company to address noises in our attic. They looked in the attic briefly and determined it was a squirrel issue. I had concerns about the thoroughness of the assessment, but the technician was confident as to our issue. They set a single trap that caught nothing. When they came back out on a service request to remove the trap I was told we were all set. We still have the same scratching noises in the attic, and now our out $350. Stay away from this company. read more

When you have a deceased wildlife situation, don't bother with this place. The website states dead animal removal, and I even stated that was what I needed on the phone. Next day guy comes out, tells me they specialize in LIVE animal trapping and that I need to call Animal Removers. This at 2pm on a friday.... Leaving me stuck with a rotting animal making my whole house start to smell horrible, and other place cant get me in til freakin Tuesday! I dont know if the tech just didnt want to do it, or if the receptionist just carelessly assigned it to the wrong type of tevh?!?!?! I called this place back and complained the website clearly claims dead animal removal, got transferred, explained to her what happened and that I need a technician to come out now that will actually do the job... Got put on hold a few minutes, then hung up on and no one called me back. They verified all my info, so they had my number! Such B.S.!!! Glad it was at least a 'free' inspection.... But nothing is resolved and I still have an animal rotting away! So value of free inspection ended up costing me in the end anyway, one way or another, my situation is now progressing to worse and will likely be more expensive to resolve! Very poor customer service. They showed up and placed a trap. The bait was gone the next morning. I called several times to tel them. They came back a week and a half later and said they tried and charged me $350. Not sure how they expected to catch an animal with an empty trap. read more

Neighbors have issue with raccoons in attic. These people came and set traps so they can safely relocate the coons without harming them. 2 days ago I find a poor raccoon hanging from the edge of their roof lifeless. Its paw got caught in trap then slid to edge and lord knows how long it took for poor thing to die. After calling to report incident they still gave yet to come remove the raccoon. I just feel this creature didnt deserve to die especially like this. I raised a raccoon from a baby as a child and they are wonderful, intelligent animals. This waa a cruel and inhumane death. So, we heard some scratching in the attic. We called Critter Control. They sent a guy over to investigate. He did not look at the entire attic but determined that whatever was up there was gone. He put a trap on the roof (not in the attic) and offered some outrageous prices to repair places where the critter "might" have gotten in. He said he could not determine where it was getting in and applying these "fixes" may or may not even work. So, we declined to give them thousands of dollars for that. If he said he knew they were coming in here or there, surely we would have fixed it but his list of "repairs" smelled like a scam. A month later, the trap was still empty so he removed it. Now, we still hear the scratching in the attic. In summary, we are out $160 and have not resolved this issue. Thanks Critter Control! read more

We called Critter Control to deal with a snake issue and paid them extra to come out on a weekend. The technician explained that we needed to get rid of the chipmunks we had seen previously and the snake(s) would leave. He didn't see anything where I reported seeing a snake, and assumed it was gone. He put out two chipmunk traps near where we saw a chipmunk and a third in an area facing a neighbor's house which far more vegetation than on our property. The snake I saw was in the chipmunk hole. I put out glue traps for snakes and caught a small one the next day, so I expect to get others. No chipmunk was caught in any of the Critter Control traps. I think we no longer have a chipmunk problem because we have a snake problem, and they don't coexist. I also think Critter Control took the money but did not provide the service we needed. I would not recommend them to anyone and will never call them again. read more

Called middle of the night when a racoon was in the middle of my kitchen. Employee was rude. You could tell he didn't want to help. Told me to open an outside door and see if it would leave on its own. Finally convinced this guy I needed him to come out and he showed up in street clothes. No uniform. Unshaven. Quite a mess. Acted totally bothered that he had to do his job. I paid a huge amount of money to be treated like crap from employee named Bryan. I left messages on answering machine about the service and no one ever called me back. Poor customer service. Would not reccomend to anyone. read more
