I've watched them working with nervous dogs (as mine was the first time) and they will have two people calmly talking to and soothing the dog until it relaxes before they begin to trim the nails or groom it. VCA accessed Scout's condition quality of life and reconfirmed what I already knew. That is, it was time to say thank you and with a heavy heart to say goodbye to our Scout for the last time. he was and will always be a part of our family.
