He knew, and said so, that the raccoon would either be down in the shop looking for a way out or in the trap the next morning. The raccoon was trapped on the metal roof till noon in 90 degree heat, despite my repeated calls to Scott and the office number, leaving urgent messages. The animal was shaking the cage and crying, that I could hear in the shop. Absolute radio silence from Critter Getters. Showed up nonchalantly around noon. Please use someone else that will use humane methods. There was no reason for the animal to suffer for hours needlessly.

Aside from removal (depending on the state of nesting and any babies), I was also looking for a long term solution to keep birds from nesting in the soffit of my home year after year. While Anchor Pest was open to working on my Townhouse, they also have good prices and their removal process eco- and nature-friendly, however they were not able to offer the permanent solution I so desperately need. The representative was very courteous and responsive to my messages and phone calls. They did offer a deterrent (scare balloons) but this was only for short term. (Installed in Spring with removal after end of season.) I was hoping for additional work that would include sealing off access but this was not offered. In all fairness, Anchor was very transparent about the work they do and may be a good option for others when dealing with different pest/wildlife issues.
