I drove up from San Antonio to purchase the item and met him at his family's Lonestar Tile and Granite business location on FM-1187 shook hands with everyone and paid the agreed price to directly Anthony Armendariz in cash. There were other people there his uncle, his girlfriend who I had been communicating with and other workers. When I arrived, it was already dark and the item was already hanging from a forklift ready to load. It was late and I was in a hurry to get on the road back to San Antonio, so I quickly loaded the item and left and no point in our communication did anyone ever mention the item missing parts or being not functional. 5 minutes down the road I stopped at QT to fuel up and to check my straps as the items was big and heavy. While checking my straps I noticed the item was missing the main hydraulic control component. I immediately call Anthony Armendariz girl friend who is the persons I had been communication with, and she said that they were not aware that anything was wrong with or missing from the item and said they would be happy to return my money. She also said that there was some parts that possibly went to the piece of equipment at the business and I could go back and look at them. At this point I was pretty sure it was just an honest oversite, and the part would be found at the business, and I would be happy to take it with me and sort it out when I got home but not luck. The missing very important and very expensive part was not able to be found I then communicated this to Anthony Armendariz and his girl friend and they then stopped communicating with me at all. I decided that my best course of action was to unload the item and leave it there and with the hope that these people would do the right thing and return my money. Unfortunately I had to much faith in the honestly of the company and this family and they will not return my calls or messages. I am posting this because this is a family business and if this is how they operate it should be known to community. I am still hopeful that they will do the right thing but we will see and I will up date this if the situation changes.

They did a great job on a challenging steep and rocky hillside in clearing the brush, mulching dead fallen trees near our creek, and ensuring our big hardwoods and cedars were left untouched. The project manager said the crew that had started had been deported but he found another crew to finish. He added in siding touch-ups and paint for the whole exterior to make it up. Later on I found leaks on my roof due to the vents being installed backwards and several exposed nails. I called several times until I finally got someone honest enough to tell me what the issue was. They reluctantly fixed the vents and just put some caulking over the exposed nails. Years later when my 5 yr warranty is about to expire I called them because of a leak around my chimney. They took about 3 weeks to send someone out to take a look at it, during the wettest May in history. By this time my insurance had sent someone who said it wasn't weather damage. The 3rd party contractor JNT sent said it was a problem with the flashing which wasn't replaced. A week later I heard nothing from JNT and had to call back and forth again. JNT said it was weather damage. I told them that their contractor and my insurance adjustor disagreed. About another week goes by and they agree it was flashing but that wasn't covered in our original contract. I'm also out of luck because they don't know how to work with stucco. I had no idea they were going to lay the roof and do a half assed job since they don't even work with stucco. Basically horrible service any time I've had to deal with them.

A deal killer for me was the statement of also running an animal rescue business as a non-profit and the statement that "we really need the work" as well as that she would have to secure an insurance certificate for me prior to beginning work instead having one available at this time. After she left, I went and did additional research and only found about one review per year on several different sites as well as on BBB only having six in total, a small amount for 25 years I would think. And as for the animal rescue operation she claimed, a Facebook account with no post since 2023 (Triple Seven Rescue Ranch), no records of such an operation listed on the federal register or on the Texas Comptroller or Texas Secretary of State database. Can NOT recommend due to an obvious inability to present a truthful account of the business.
