Today I used the services of a wonderful handyman, Ken at Goshen Home Services. I had several…read moreunusual problems that all happened at the same time, and he quickly fixed them all. I originally called him because my dryer was taking too long to dry clothes. The night before he was scheduled to come by, someone hit my mailbox and knocked it to the ground. During his first visit, he analyzed the problem with the dryer and determined it needed a better solution than a simple dryer vent cleanout. It needed materials, which he picked up for me. He also removed both parts of the mailbox so that I could take it to be welded. Today he came back, totally resolved the dryer issue, reinstalled the mailbox and also replaced one of my landscape lights that had burned out. It was a pleasure to deal with Ken. I will be using him again. I also gave his name to my son and daughter in law, who are moving to a new house and will need the assistance of a reliable, knowledgeable professional like Ken.

Hired to build a fence gate. First storm the gate came down. After quoted 800$ to fix it we agreed…read moreon 250$ for 3 hinges each side instead of 2 and a post in the driveway so the door couldnt swing inward. This was late last year and I told him that I needed the gate up by the end of April as I was installing a pool. Twice we have agreed on a time to come out out fix it. First time he called me on February 9th saying he would be out next week, I said that was fine just needed it done by end of April so that was great. He didnt show or call. Followed up with texts in march and april with no response. Then after connecting again on May 11th He said he would be out that week or by the end of the following week. I called on the 22nd and havent heard back. Called again today and left another message. Things happen but a text or phone call is the least a business can do to explain why something isnt as agreed. Going to just order the parts and fix it myself at this point. hope this saves someone else the time and headache. I was initially happy but 1600 for a gate to last only 3 months isnt acceptable.
