Please note paint suplys was billed and charged but no painting was completed, see photos.. Please note the company unethical practice of giving our personal information, name, city and zip. Additionally, the invoices lack transparency. There is no itemized list of material costs--only a total is provided. The company refuses to produce receipts for confirmed trips to Home Depot and Handyman Hardware, despite multiple mentions by both the manager and handyman of purchasing materials from these stores. Their response has been, "Trust us, we buy in bulk," which is not acceptable without documentation. Workmanship was subpar, with several jobs left incomplete. Prices were extremely high, and the business practices appear questionable. I was never hostile, but when a company threatens collections, I have every right to seek legal counsel. NEVER HIRE THESE PEOPLE! MRL Home Improvements was hired by…read moremy long-term general contractor to put on a new roof, and it was the worst experience I have had in 50 years of home ownership. Not one person of the 10-man crew spoke English, no bi-lingual supervisor ever showed up during the work, and they were totally careless about the damage they did to other parts of the house. Photos show the mountains of trash thrown on the porch, all around the yard, and onto the landscaping. There was so much being thrown off the roof that it was dangerous to step out any door. They couldn't repair all the damage they did and mess they made, but I guess they did end up paying for my GC to replace almost 100 ft of damaged gutters, 60 ft of bent fascia, and an air conditioner service call to dismantle and remove trash and 31 nails from inside. The list goes on and on. Thanks to the GC for getting the issues resolved as best as possible, but we had to cancel plans for multiple days while all the mess and damage was repaired. No reputable company would have treated our home this way, or unleased a crew of obviously under trained, disorganized, and careless workers. Worst home repair event of my life, and none of my friends or family have every experienced anything like this either. On the bright side, my GC did step up to the plate and get this resolved rather than these people just walking away. I hope their work installing backing, shingles, vents, etc. were up to snuff. At this point, only time will tell.
