Now,it's not often or everyone that has specific childhood ketchup memories. On second thought,everyone has them. But,it's more than I loved ketchup as a kid or I hated ketchup. Growing up in Dallas it was an us and them experience. My grandmother used Del Monte ketchup and she kept it in the refrigerator. My mother Bought Heinz and kept it in the pantry. I liked ketchup but,just on French fries. Everyone had friends that smothered everything in ketchup but not me. I discovered last year I like ketchup more than ever and have been dowsing my burgers with it occasionally. It seems not that long ago,the Heinz glass bottle disappeared for ever. I love glass and hate plastic so it was a sad passing but I get the business necessities of it. So I chug along with my plastic bottle of Heinz,in the fridge and ready for action.
