This is my husbands favorite quick breakfast spot and I just can't share the same sentiment. I usually grab a ham/egg/cheese croissant or the sausage and cheese kolache, but I avoid their donuts like the plague (and I love donuts). This past Sunday I broke my no-donuts-from-cronuts rule and got a blueberry old fashioned. I am sad to say, it felt like I was eating a fried funnel cake. It was drenched in oil, I've never had a worse donut. This place is awful. They were very pushy and rude. They gave me the wrong item (even though I pointed at it while ordering). I ordered a cronut, but they gave me a donut. When I told them, they gave me a cronut but made me pay the difference of $1.31. I have had a delicious cronut elsewhere, and this did not live up to my expectations. Also, for a place called Cronuts Donuts, I was surprised they only had one kind. Their long johns have no filling. They're just a long chocolate glazed donut! Two people in my group had some long strawberry thing that was almost too hard to bite into. The sausage egg and cheese sandwiches surprisingly had mayo on them, were super greasy, and ultimately were inedible. And finally, one person had a hair in their donut. Stopped in this morning. We were literally the only period in the store and were in no hurry. The woman asked us what we wanted three times in about 1 minute. We finally just said 6 cronut holes because we didn't have time to look. I also asked for one blueberry donut hole. I was told they only sell donut holes in 6 or 12. I've never seen any donut place not sell them in singles. The lady got upset that I didn't have any cash on me and had to charge $1.48 to my card. We will not be back. read more

Okay I only stopped here off a recommendation from a friend. I wanted to write it off being that it is in a out of date building. Dont let that building fool you. I am glad I walked in. Right as soon as I open the door, I was greeted. A good selection of donuts were being freshly placed on the display trays. You know that they are fresh when you can see the dough give a little to the lady's fingers with little to no pressure. Already impressed with that, I ordered some snacks and my impression got even better. Possibly one of my new favorite spots for a morning snack. Their freshness is even reflected off their hours as they close early afternoon so that they can ensure that everything is made daily. Get it while you can! Some of the menu items were running low and I dont see them restocking some for the rest of the day. This spot also serves as a Boba tea shop as I think the place is ran by possibly (Thai?) people. My Blended Milk Boba Tea was just as good as the things I ate. Was thoroughly impressed as to what this little shop could push out to its customers. Will definitely be returning. In a hurry? They have a wide variety of donuts and pastries. I tried the bacon, egg and cheese and the rest had a variety of donuts. I wasn't impressed with the breakfast sandwich, but the donuts were good. We also had a cup of coffee and it wasn't very good either. It tasted burnt. I would go back strictly for the donuts and that's it. read more

You might not expect pastry greatness from a donut shop run by Thai's in a dated space formerly occupied by a Taco-Tico, but these guys have the best donuts in Chicken Town (and I've tried ALL of the other donut shops in Springdale, unfortunately). I think they're the best in NWA. I used to work in a donut shop in college and let me tell you, when donuts come out of the fryer and are covered in a layer of liquid glaze and cool for about 30 seconds, there ain't nothing better tasting on earth. The moist, soft donut almost melts in your overjoyed mouth. But you've got to be there at 4 am to experience that. I've been looking for that taste ever since, and haven't found it (try though they do, hot-off-the-line Crispy Cream donuts just don't have the right taste or consistency for me, but they have the right idea). Enter Cronuts Donuts. I love their glazed donuts. They are so moist throughout that they are good for days (actually). Oh, and their namesake, the cronut, is out of this world (a cronut is a donut made with croissant dough, and yes, it's as good as it sounds). It's a perfect combination of sweet bread, glaze, and crunchiness. Cronut holes? Out of this world! I refuse to eat those dry, generic donuts at Dunkin' or any of the other donut shops (including Rick's Bakery) ever again (Ok, I could eat one from Olde Tyme Donuts if had enough milk, but only if Cronuts was closed). Though I rue the day my beloved Taco-Tico had to shutter its doors, at least I got Cronuts Donuts out of the deal! read more

They have a decent variety to pick from. I got the glazed cronut and a banana fritter. Both was overly sweet to the point of regretting getting them. Good for the novelty of it but no thanks on a second time around. read more
