I recently had an unfortunate experience at Crop Hair Boutique, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment with others. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this salon fell far short of my expectations. Firstly, the atmosphere was lackluster and uninspiring. The salon lacked any sense of style or creativity, making it difficult to feel excited about the upcoming haircut. The outdated decor and drab color scheme added to the overall underwhelming ambiance. To my dismay, the hairstylists at Crop Hair Boutique lacked professionalism and skill. Despite providing clear instructions on the desired haircut, the stylist seemed disinterested and inattentive throughout the entire process. Their lack of attention to detail was evident in the final result, which was far from what I had envisioned. The cut was uneven, with noticeable stray hairs left untouched. Furthermore, the customer service was severely lacking. The staff members seemed disengaged and uninterested in providing a satisfactory experience. There was a lack of communication and transparency, leaving me feeling neglected and disregarded as a customer. To make matters worse, the prices at Crop Hair Boutique were exorbitant for the quality of service received. I expected a salon that charges such high rates to deliver exceptional results, but unfortunately, that was not the case. The subpar haircut I received did not justify the hefty price tag. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Crop Hair Boutique to anyone seeking a quality salon experience. The lackluster atmosphere, unskilled hairstylists, poor customer service, and inflated prices all contribute to an overall disappointing visit. I suggest looking elsewhere for a salon that values professionalism, creativity, and customer satisfaction. read more

I've been going to Crop for around two years now, and I will never again go to another salon. The service is fantastic; the products they carry are top-of-the-line; and the stylists are true professionals. I so appreciate my stylist (Damien - a hair genius!) taking the time to show me styling techniques and explain what he's doing as he styles my hair. I recently went red from blonde, and he advised me (over Twitter no less) to come in for a quick free consultation so he could explain some of the risks and considerations before making such a drastic change. They truly go the extra mile at Crop. read more

I recently got my hair dyed bright pink by Damien at Crop and I LOVE it. It's everything I've wanted for so long now. I have been experimenting with pastel colored hair dyes for a few years now and Crop has done it THE. BEST. I had my hair dyed a lavender color by Robyn last winter and that was just as amazing. When my stylist went on maternity leave last April, I started driving from Calgary to Red Deer to get my hair cut by Aaron at Crop Hair Boutique. Almost a year later I'm still making the trip. Why? Because he cuts my short hair with careful precision to maximize the curl and texture. Nobody has ever made my hair look as good as he does. read more

I went to crop for the first time about a week ago and got a colour and trim on my long hair, Lindsey was my stylist and she was very personable, knows a lot about hair and the bumble to bumble products they sell and use in the salon. I would highly recommend stopping in and visiting one of their very talented stylists. read more

Danielle C. does a great job coloring my hair. She is so knowledgeable about different types of color products and what works best on different types of hair. She does a great job. There is no one else in Red Deer I would trust for great highlights and lowlights. Be prepared to book well in advance, she is very busy! read more

I finally found Christie at Just Cuts on 50th Ave. She is super and does a great job. She is a kind person as are the other girls who work there. It has a good atmosphere at the shop which tells me they get along well and that must mean their boss is good to them as well. I never hear complaints or anything of that kind.
