I've had my hair done by a stylist at this salon a few times now. This has consisted of bleaching, colour and cuts. I went to another salon this week and the stylist I saw could not do my hair in the way I wished due to the damage to my hair. My hair has broken in chunks and even brushing my hair it breaks in pieces. I had a treatment to restore health and was not able to even strip my colour now with a conditioning colour eraser due to a high risk of all of my hair breaking off. The stylist at divas even said to me and other clients at the time that she was taking short cuts on our hair to fit us all in in one day. She consistently used bleach to remove colour instead of a colour eraser and this caused my hair to not only become very damaged, but to be inconsistent in colour after all fading in one week. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of knowledge in this salon. Hair seems to be done with money in mind and not hair health. Do not go here if you value the health of your hair. The owner called me after posting a review and argued with me that my review wasn't valid as I waited "too long" after having my hair done to have a bad review. He talked over me and belittled me, to the point I had to get off the phone as I was feeling bullied. Do not go here. read more

Absolutely love this salon. The space is so bright and amazing inside and the new owners are always updating and improving the place. There is a barbershop in the back and it fits so well. Not to mention the beer and wine. The stylists are so great, they all seem to know exactly what they're doing, and the atmosphere is electric with them in there. read more

I went to this salon for about a year and would see the same hair stylist. She was a fairly good stylist but couldn't remember from appointment to appointment how she had cut my hair previously. I was often disappointed and had to wait sometimes up to half an hour after my appointment time to get in. The last incident that happened before my daughter wedding is why I will not return to this salon. Because my usual hairstylist was busy and I couldn't get in to see her for a eyebrow wax she referred me to someone else in the salon. I went 2 days before my daughters wedding and the stylist waxed off one quarter of my eyebrow in the area closest to the top of my nose. When I looked in the mirror I stated that she waxed off a big chunk of my eyebrow. She stated that there was just a few hairs in the area anyhow. OMG it looked lopsided and I was horrified. But the kicker is she didn't take responsibility and to avoid a fuss I even paid for it!! They say most customers don't complain they just never return. read more
