A result of this is that the wood has become compressable. Through this, the decks started to sag, a very dangerous situation. We called around and were very fortunate to find Yavapai Decks, Abide Construction. Nate talked with me about the project and fortunately had a couple of open days in the near future. He came out and gave me an estimate, which I accepted. Later that week he came out and did the repair. This involved jacking up the decks so he could remove the bad lumber. The end result is that we now have a very solid foundation for our decks. The work was done beautifully and structurally sound. He even painted the supports the exact color of the existing structure. I only wish that Yavapai Decks did other work - we would hire them in an instant!

He came over, and I asked him if he could paint the bathroom. He wouldn't honor the ad he took out in the mailer and said it was just a hook to get a bigger job such as the whole interior of a house. This contractor is not honest or honorable enough to honor the ad he took out in Prescott's local mailer. I would not recommend him. He may do a crappy painting job and not fix it. Not honoring his ad speaks of his honesty and business ethics.
