I would never normally take the time to write a review but my experience with this clinic has been so horrible that I had to take the time to write this. First off, I understand that it is a walk in clinic, meaning it's going to be a long wait and I'm most likely never going to see the same doctor twice - I understand this prior to my visit, so I had low expectation but even my lowest expectation wasn't even met.
I had seen a doctor there regarding some concerns about 2 weeks ago - the doctor was rushed and didn't seem to care too much about what she was doing, but again, I knew this was a walk in clinic and didn't expect more than that. So I go have the tests done 2 days later. I wait 1.5 weeks, hear nothing from the office, so I call in to ask if my test results were in. The person that answered the phone was extremely unhappy to be at work is my best guess since her demeanor made me feel like I was bothering her by calling. Fine, it's not a customer service agent, it's a walk in clinic. She rudely advised that my tests were in and promptly hung up the phone. I keep telling myself, "it's a doctors office, not a customer service agent, so don't let it bother you", fine. I go down to the office to speak to a doctor about the results - wait 1 hour - again, fine, it's a walk in clinic.
Finally get to see the doctor only to find out that they dont actually have all the results just a portion. Now I'm a little irritated since I feel that I did my due diligence and called down prior to coming down and waiting an hour and had specifically asked about the missing results. The doctor had the MOA try and find the results, and even though I told her exactly where I had them done (which was the same place and time they had the partial results from) she couldn't seem to understand where to call to find them. Finally, I googled the lab for her! She finally got them on the phone (after 20m's of her calling god knows where first) and now they can't send the results cus it's too late in the day. A little irritated I ask to see the doctor before I leave since I had some questions for the meantime...this was the part that put me over the edge and made me write this review: they refused to let me see the doctor since he could not analysis my blood work yet. I explained that I had other questions as I was still sick and wondering how to manage it in the meantime; the MOA still said the doctor would not see me. Now, you know they billed MSP for this visit...even though I never actually got ANY advise from the doctor! AND - when I was asking how to treat myself in the meantime the MOA had the gull to ask me if I had any prescription medication I could take....is she joking?? I would need to see a doctor to get medication and even though I waited my turn I was unable to even speak to the doctor again today.
Again, I think I am a reasonable person. I didn't expect to have the same service or care that I get when I see my family doctor. I didn't even expect to be treated that nicely by the MOA or receptionist. I understand that people make mistakes and even though she was SO rude I could have excepted that she made a mistake when she advised ALL my results were in but being basically told that I can't see the doctor after having waited my turn complied with the rest really made me have to write this.
The thing that gets me the most is that my tax dollars (and yours too) were probably billed for this visit! I am totally livid and it pains me to still have to go back there to get the results...whenever it is that they find them!!
I agree with Mark H and keep on walking! read more
