It was only Dr. Gupta who recommended a lipid panel and immediately asked me to lower my dosage to half (40 mg). I was then treated to the tale of how this woman's son and grandson both had curvature of the spine and her grandson is a wrestler. Meanwhile my husband is coughing so hard he's passing out. In spite of her rudeness I got my husband in the car and made the almost one hour drive to the office. I asked if there was a chance my husband could be seen that day she flippantly informed us that doctor wasn't even in the office. I commented that that would have been nice to know when I called. She quite derisively replied that I hadn't asked. I admit that in my frustration I snipped that I didn't realize I had to ask and turned to help my husband back to the car. On our way out she made sure we heard her sarcastic verbal parting shot, "Nice." It doesn't matter how wonderful the doctor may be when the office staff act as if they're doing you a favor by deigning to speak at you.

In my expeience the staff are very caring and accomodating to my clients meeting them at their level without judgement or discrimination (especially the dental hygenists). I have to say this nonjudgemtal treatment is not something I experience often at other doctors offices/ hospitals in the cape girardeau area. The only critisism I have is in regards to this buisness is the attitude of the receptionists on occasion. I have noticed the front desk receptionists on occasion will respond to patients with attitude or apathy (in their defense I have witnessed patients approach the receptionists with very aggressive language and hostility almost everytime I visit seeming without reason). I understand that everyone has bad days and dealing with the community is very difficult at times (I understand more than most) with this being said, sometimes you have to bite the bullet when approached with negitivity/hostility/aggression and put on a smile, use your "nice voice" and move on. Overall I would reccomend Crosstrails Dental they do care about their patients, make them feel welcome, comfortable and accepted.
