This place was super cool and really eclectic. This is kind of off the block but we were there for a nerf birthday party. For this party, they rented out the nerf area where it had a sitting area for the parents and a play area for the kids. It has obstacles and little hiding spots and was really fun for the younger kids. They also had another area that had gellyball but our kids were too little. It looked really neat and then to the far side they had ax throwing. Throw in a few arcade games and this is a great spot to pass some time in Wilmington.

We attended a birthday party at Crossfire paintball. There is a large space with tables set up for parties along with a few arcade games separate from the paint ball and nerf rooms. My son and the most of the guests were around 11 years old. The boys were provided instructions on how to use the paintball guns. They were given helmets with face masks and the game was on! Teams were made and rules provided to keep everyone safe. The games last a few minutes as players are eliminated as they are shot. The boys absolutely loved it! Suggestion would be wear long sleeve shirt and pants, and if you can pad up your clothing that helps! It does hurt when you get hit. After a few games, we took a break for pizza and cake. Then.....back into the obstacle/barrier battle room they went. We will definitely go back to play and my son has asked if he could have his party there. Great staff, fun and place to go for indoor activity.

My brother in law wanted to come check this place out for Father's Day. After signing the requisite waiver we were escorted into the main area. There we were outfitted with masks and guns, while the kids got safety vests. I wore jeans, long sleeve shirt, and sweatshirt, and although hot, was glad I had the protection. For $25 approximately you get 100 paint balls which lasts anywhere from 15-45 minutes. You can also purchase more paintballs at anytime during the game which allows you to play as long as you'd like. It's a definite adrenaline rush as you're dodging bullets. Note that it WILL sting, no matter what you're wearing, but it dissipates pretty quickly. It was fun since we had the whole place to ourselves but I imagine it would be even better with a larger group. The guys running it were super chill which was nice.

Took my kids (9,11,and 13)here as part of our summer bucket wish list. The place is top notch! I suggest you get the 500 paint ball package when you go. The price is all inclusive (you may want pants and long sleeve shirt). The staff is friendly safe and great with younger kids. They really enjoy the sport. They do use smaller paint balls so if you have young kids (7yr olds) they are able to play (bring them a long sleeve shirt) I found the smaller paint to be nice indoors and the gun speeds are all preset. They use premium barrels on their equipment (radial holes for good ball spin and accuracy). Honestly on your own you'd spend $100 a person for a few rounds. This is a steal to just walk in and shoot your buddies! Thanks crossfire for the epic day!

Awesome indoor activity for kids. A little pricey but there's no time limit so it's well worth the money. It's great for groups and kids of all ages. My 8 & 7 year old joined a party and had a blast! Wish they had one in Onslow county.

What a day! Incredible. Our group of five and some of the staff.

We are so impressed by the generosity and help of the employees when we went to check out the nerf games and paintball.

The front yard area of Time to Rage could use quite a bit of work to make it aesthetically pleasing. But once I was in the rage room and starting breaking things, it was totally worth it. To book a session, it's easy to book it on their website in either 5, 10, 15 minute increments or a customized timeframe. They offer various glassware such as cups, wine bottles, plates as well as printers, TVs, copiers. If you want to break bigger items like a TV, I recommend asking for it in advance to make sure you have it. In my session, I only had glassware. There is free street parking right in front. After parking, you enter a small room, where you get dressed up for your session. You put on disposable coveralls, disposable ear plugs, gloves, and a face shield. Make sure to wear closed-toed shoes before coming. There is only one room to break things and only one person is allowed at a time. You can choose any song to play while you're breaking things in your session. You might want to do some research beforehand on what kind of song to use, if you want a specific song. Otherwise, they have a small chalkboard with the top 5 songs written that people like. I chose Drowning Pool - Bodies, which is an awesome song to rage to. In the rage room, they had baseball bats and golf clubs to break things. You can also stand behind two drawn out lines on the floor to throw things at the wall. All of the glassware were sitting on a table in the middle of the room. There were some broken things that were left in the room against the walls, like broken TVs. They did not get in the way of raging for me. I have never done this kind of activity before so I was a little nervous before my session. But once I picked up the bat and started swinging, it was so much fun and cathartic. Let me tell you, this is more carhartic than punching a bag. I wish they were able to give me a heads up of when my 5 minutes was almost to a close. The owner is thinking of a solution for that. I also wished they had plenty of items to break in the first place before I started raging. They told me I was pretty quick at breaking things compared to other people, so they had to give me some more things to break, just 4 more cups. Maybe if I had bigger substantial items, that would have taken up some more time. 5 minutes would be plenty of time to rage, but, only if there are a lot of things to break without pausing. If you have a lot of cooped up emotions, then 10 minutes+ might be better. I definitely recommend this to everyone to try at least once in your lifetime!

I could not be more impressed with Mark and his knowledge base, approachability and professionalism. Mark truly loves what he teaches and has an incredible ability to teach in a way that you can understand the practical application in both shooting and survival principles. Over the High Angle Woodsman 1 and 2 course we covered in depth the following: -High Angle rapid deployment of pack and tripod -Wind calls and truly understanding mirage vs. approximate wind speed -Shooter spotter dialog -Locating and walking others onto targets -Qualification shooting in high angle situations -Kestrel and Range finder integration -Basic land navigation reading maps and GPS utilization. -How to make a bow drill and using it to start a fire -Fishing with hands only -Water purification -Building shelters -Harvesting an animal and all the different ways that those parts can be used for survival and protection for you and your equipment. -Making a fishing net out of paracord -Snares to trap different size animals -True necessities in 1-5 day camping and hiking as well as understanding importance of weight in those situations -Difference in real knives, axes and survival equipment vs. the stuff that will fail on you more than likely. -Knife and ax sharpening -How to build various types of fires -Safe techniques in using an ax with different size handles an models That's just some of it. Either way you can get an idea we were able to cover a wide range of topics in a short amount of time. I walked away from both courses with a lot of knowledge and a real respect for all the years that Mark has spent honing his craft. I am going to be taking High Angle Woodsman 3 here in a couple of months where we take everything we learned in both 1 and 2 to do a 4 day camp/shoot using only what we are carrying in our packs. If you are interested in getting more comfortable shooting and surviving in backcountry/high angle environments do yourself a favor and get in touch with Mark and explain what your goals are. You will walk away a better woodsman/shooter without a doubt.
