Would not recommend. We had our 3 kids and a grandson here and two of our kids was trying to play with our grandson (who is 2 years old in the red bracelet area. The workers told them they was not allowed in the area with him. No other children was in that area. My dad sat in one of the chairs and the leg on it was collapsing and the worker was told and she didn't do anything about it. Left it for someone to get hurt. Will not be back. Mega disappointment I've been bringing my family and friends to this establishment for a while now, so it's disappointing to see that little to no repairs or maintenance is ever done whenever we revisit. It's very frustrating to see all the out-of-order signs and dirty mats my children are provided to play on. This visit was the most disappointing due to my son's favorite ride being out of order once again on our latest visit. I would assume with the price of entry; it should be sufficient enough for maintenance and replacements of mats and balls for the ball pit. rude staff, yelling at a 3yo on the loud speaker cause she was on the "toddler slide" with no other kids playing in the toddler side. then immediately after we get her out of the toddler side, they allow different child with a blue wrist band to play in the toddler side, and proceeded to watch a grow man go down the toddler slide, with out say a WORD to them over the loud speaker as they did with my 3yo literally just going down the toddler slide. this all happened within 3 minutes. read more

I imagine this place keeps their doors open from hosting parties. That in mind, parties should be a priority. Its not. The expectation (aka sales pitch) was that you get a "party host", pizza, drinks, cutlery, a banner, play time, a gift for the birthday girl/boy. So, the package offered matches the hefty price point of $300-$350+ for 1.5 (yes, 1.5) hours of birthday partying. If you want your guests to play longer than 1.5 hours, you are charged $150 more. So, the sales pitch from the manager upon booking vs the reality of the actual party: 1. No manager in sight. 2-3 panicked teenagers attempting to live up to the expectations of the party goers. I felt bad for these girls. They had no clue what was going on and it was uncomfortable. 2. Pizza was never ordered and therefore never came. 3. The upsell of adding a theme was the wrong theme all together. They had to strip the room and start over as the party was starting. 4. I had to REQUEST the INCLUDED drinks and cutlery. The teens tried to tell me they no longer offer cutlery but I wasn't about to ask my guests to use their hands on cake. 5. The salt in the wound is when one of the teen employees handed me the "party balance" WHILE the party was still going on. They charged me for TWICE the amount of kids (16 vs 8) AND a the pizzas that never came. I gave these girls a lot of grace because they simply seemed in over their heads. But this bill seemed intentional considering how much I had to ask/complain for the agreed upon services. They wanted to take my money regardless of what I actually received. I do not recommend putting your trust in this facility to execute a memorable birthday party. The end. read more

I haven taken my kids a few time. They staff is very nice and helpful! The place is very clean with how many kids come through and safety risks are taken care of so kids dont get hurt. Being that my childrens health is number 1 the have been here a handful of time and have not gotten sick. I have seen alot of kids birthday parties. What I would recommend that they have an area for small children and there is a sign starting they 3 and under but the bigger child come in and play when they want putting the young children and babies in danger. I wish this can be solved so the smaller kids can have their own place to be safe. Last, when you arrive you are given wrist bands with you childs number. It wasnt till last week there was someone standing at the door cutting them off but they still weren't checking the numbers written on the bands. If I could give this place no stars I would! They don't even deserve this star. First and foremost the general manager and her assistant manager/supervisor are very rude! I came for a birthday party and brought my two year old daughter. I was helping my two year old play one of the games so she can win and the manager rudely got on the microphone and said "we can see you playing the game for the kids and to play the game right." Then she sent one of the staff to confront me with my two ear old daughter and took the ball from me and told me she needed to do it herself or we are cheating. She two years old!!!!! we ended up just going to the slides and finishing the 30 minutes out there. I asked the general manager what policy is listed that says we can't help our babies, not kids, but babies/toddlers play a game they obviously are to small to know how to do themselves. Why are they even watching us play the games of we aren't causing any hazards or distractions. I ended up asking the general manager for the owners information and she said we don't need to know it and gave me a pamphlet with the phone number for the establishment in which she will gladly answer the phone and take my complaint. I told her I was going to leave a review for this ridiculous experience and she stated "please do". I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Megaplay always does an outstanding job! The appointment system online prevents being surrounded by possibly hundreds of children and parents. It looked like there were less than 30 children in the entire play area. I even saw staff members cleaning equipment several times during our visit. We came back only cause it's terrible rain outside and my toddler out of school. This place is kinda cool. I took my son on his 4th birthday. He wanted to play in the ball pit which they only have in the 3 and under section and the workers told him he had to leave. I thought that's a little crazy and told him if they wanted to be technical he doesn't turn 4 until 6:20pm so he's still 3. Then they allowed him to play in there. Kids liked it for about an hour and then complained they were bored and hungry. I tried to buy them a slice of pizza (pizza, popcorn, pretzel & popcorn are the only food choices) and was told "we are only selling whole pizzas at this time." This was a turn off for me as my kids eat early and 11:30 is lunch for us. As for the playing... they have a large 2 story play structure and 3 bounce houses. They large play area has several slides, guns that shoot balls and lots of areas to climb up and room to run. It is nice a tall and would probably fit an adult. 1 bounce house is a double slide, 1 is a basket "game" that's too big for young children and the other is an obstacle course. This is a wonderful place to take your children! They have so many activities to do! I will say that I was displeased with older children coming into the toddler area (ages 3 and under) and knocking children over and jumping on the toys. I do think that someone should monitor which color wristband is supposed to be in which area. Other than that, my son had a blast! read more

Had my daughters first Birthday Party there an I got to tell you I was not happy. Clean play areas. The staff is friendly too. We went on a Sunday around 11:15am and it wasn't too busy. They have a toddler section with a ball pit. My son stayed their most of the time. This place is great for kids of all ages. We can spend hours in there. It has a place for birthday parties and bouncy houses. They have their own kid version of American ninja. Giant slides for you and your little one to go down. And a small place area for infants and small toddlers so they don't get trampled by the older kids. I think they are open too much honestly because they do need to have renovations done for upkeep. It's not as nice as it was when they first opened. But it's still extremely clean for as many kids that go there and upkept for as much as they are open too. read more

The facility itself is nice and is a great place for kids and parents to play together; however the staff leaves much to be desired. We took our 3 children here ages (5,3,1) and they all had a blast. We took out 10 to let them play arcade games and this was probably the most disappointing part. We tried playing their whack a mole type game and it didn't work, we notified the staff and they didn't offer to give us tokens back because the machine ate ours. They then said that they knew it was broken and they had someone coming to look at it (why not put an out of order sign on it them or unplug it???) we also played the racing game where an employee intruded on our game and made sure we were playing under his game account/player name. This is a very spacious and clean play area for children. They have a couple of arge scale jumpy houses and other jungle gym type arrangements. I would say its more for kids 7 and under. There isnt enough to keep the attention of older kids. My daughter was done playing in about 35 mins. They dont have a lot of video games and the ones the do have are expensive to play. The amount of tickets given vs the amount of tokens you have to pay to play isnt worth it. I spent 10 dollars in tokens my daughter got to play 8 games and won 70 tickets. Those 70 tickets were enough to get her 3 small lollipops and a small top. Overall if youre looking from a break from chuck e cheese or altitude this is a safe clean place to bring your small children. read more

This place is great for toddlers, you can go inside the playground and slide with your little one. I'll tell you what though, I can do the same thing at a public park for free. This place is very busy with many moving parts, but if you have a young kid, this is their dream place. Love the adult seating up front with TVs, but there needs to be more seating in the back where the kids play the most. I see cameras in many places, but I also see a backdoor that doesn't look like an alarm will be triggered if opened. If I'm sitting up front while my kid plays in the back, this is concerning. I have faith that there are safety measures, but it would be nice to be near the back where my kid plays the most. Those red stools are okay but not for the duration of an hour + play session. Took my 2 grandsons, ages 5 & 8 there on Sunday, which was their opening day. But with every opening day for any business, there were glitches. Some of their games weren't working. But that was the only negative thing I can say about this new play place. The facility was immaculately clean (opening day, it should be). The staff was plentiful and pleasant. Everyone of them that I spoke to were very nice and could answer my questions. One of which was, "How do you handle situations between kids?" Since I had to tell some kid to get off my grandson and tell my grandson not to kick him....I don't have a problem telling other kids to get away from mine. Great value for the $10 all day play admission. My grandsons loved the place. Compared to JumpnJax, a little smaller, but definitely has more inflatables and a much bigger climbing/slide area! Being a single father I'm always looking for things for my daughter to do for fun and interact with other children. I took my 3 year old to Megaplay and she loved it. We've been back a few times seeing as it's about a 45 min drive from New Bern and I've even invited other friends who have small children. My only complaint and I don't think it's even a complaint would be that I didn't see much staff monitoring the play areas. When you have a toddler and there are older children 6-14 running around and almost running over the smaller children you would think as a precaution that you may want to have a few monitors in place. Took my son here this afternoon and we played like normal together. He didn't want me going down the slide with him so I stood there and waited for him to come down. After it was time to go he wasn't hard to get us to leave so I asked him what was the matter. He replied with a kid hit me. Mind you my son is 3 and is very smart for his age. I know we sign a waiver all in all but that is unacceptable behavior and nobody's child should be laying hands on another's child. Also very displeased at the fact that my son gets looks for being able to play in the toddler area because he's the age for it but tall for his age as well so we play in the "bigger kid" area and he gets hit.
