    Splatter paint get up!
    Brenna T.

Our kids absolutely loved the splatter paint room, they had so much fun creating their own pieces of canvas art. We highly recommend for a fun family activity!

Had the most perfect date night for our 7 year anniversary here. I booked the room almost two months in advance! We enjoyed the splatter room (very private) and were given a charcuterie board while we waited for our art to dry. It was a cute and sweet and memorable. We will be returning to try other things (like their event (trivia) nights). Worth every penny! Service was great too (very kind and answered all our question) and we upgraded our experience for a good price. So many things to do there.

We got a 10 play punch card and they do memberships or play for the day. Love the look and feel of the place. It's a warehouse converted to a large play area with seating all around that was clean and cozy. Also, local artist work for sale all around. It was nice to let my son interact with other kids and for us to talk to other parents. Michelle, the owner, is so friendly and made delicious drinks. We will be back!

You can go for coffee and for a fee (one time, monthly, 6 month, yearly rates) let your child play in an enclosed space with a plethora of toys and activity areas to explore. Meanwhile, you can interact with your child in the area or sit at the tables surrounding. There are some high stools directly next to the play area with a good view. I brought my two year old for the first time and he was thoroughly entertained. It was great that he was also able to play with other children. It was a clean environment and they have extra baskets positioned around for toys that may have found themselves in the mouths of the kids for cleaning afterwards. The bathroom offers a changing table and the coffee stand offers a great amount of beverages to choose from. Suggestions: with all the little hands, I would suggest hand sanitizer at the entrances to the play area. Tissues would be a good idea too. I think a lot of parents will carry those things around but having them readily available for use would overall help with cleanliness and hygiene for the kiddos. Also, a step stool in the bathroom for kids to be able to reach to wash their hands. I've been excited for Three Friends to open in the area and it did not disappoint. This is an excellent concept. I'm hoping that with more popularity maybe they will be able to stay open a little bit later for some evening play. 100% will be visiting often with my boy.

When I bought the membership I knew we were only going to be down there for a limited amount of time and tried to cancel it but the cancellation did not go through because I was recharged for $71.96 on 7/22/26 while reviewing my bank statement. We are no longer in Wilmington as we are back home in VA. I just got off the phone with Skyzone off 6431 Market Street in Wilmington, NC 28405 and spoke to Reese. He forwarded the information (email) for me to reach out to Skyzone corporate customer service and request a refund. I did just that and explained the situation. They informed me that even though there were 0 sessions used after my stay there that they would not give me a refund and instead offer me credits, which is unacceptable. I had to reach out to my bank to file a dispute and route the necessary support documentation. I'm leaving a review because of the horrible customer service that was presented.

For the most part, I was set on the go karts and only the go karts. The track is fairly small and the go karts are SLOW, at least to my standards (and potentially other adults). Overall this place is more for kids, even though that's kind of obvious. Inside was bigger than I expected. Plenty of various and new games, which was a plus to see. A lot of ticket games and prizes. The back area towards the bathrooms gave off a bit of an eerie abandoned park vibe - mainly because it was only a couple of games that were on and mostly looked like spots to put their "junk" per se (that wasn't in use). Prices weren't bad, the staff that I came across were fairly nice. Would recommend for families opposed to an adult game night.

In conclusion this place is digusting and a complete rip off. Save your money and go somewhere else. The doctor said they always prefer salt water over nasty places like this!

Private Axe Throwing Party was AWESOME!!…read more WHAT FUN! They have a really great (SAFE) facility that has LOTS of space (we plan to go back for some paintball fun!). It's really a class-act setup & a fabulous 'different' experience which made for a great party! We booked a party, which on Mon-Wed they are closed & it's only private parties (not sure if this is year round or just the winter hours?); but it was GRAND having the WHOLE PLACE to ourselves! We just had 8 people for an 18th b-day party & we could easily have had another 4-6 people with the room they have for axe-throwing. The Axes area is a nice size but also cozy, almost like a neat 'bar' environment. *FYI-it is BYOB-no liquor* We brought wine for adults & sparkling juice for the teens. 3 boys, 1 girl and 4 adults.....we ALL had so much fun! $249 isn't cheap, but it was worth every penny. 90-minutes (which the fabulous gentleman who was there for us did not start our time until all safety briefing & instruction time was over) of throw time was MORE than enough, the last 10 minutes you could tell it was time to go eat, so more than 90 min would just have been too much. There are 3 high-top tables with 4 chairs each. There are 5 throwing lanes. Each lane has mesh metal screens on the sides and thick wood-paneled walls. The targets (which I read about on their site) are really amazing, the thicker blocks they use vs. cheaper boards make the axe's stick GREAT and easily for almost any throw-er. The 'games' are projected onto the boards and have score keeping that is fun & easy (like a bowling alley) with a PC mouse & keypad. The gentleman who was there for our party experience was fantastic, even came in a few times & showed us different throw-angles to try and (as a 'mom') I felt safe that he was keeping an eye on everything too. Super nice and accommodating gent - helped make our evening even more fun! Helpful tip: If you go at night, the sign is currently not lit, so it's RIGHT after Black's Tire/Goodyear. The parking lot is dark, but you'll see the lights inside are on! OH - take snacks & drinks for your party, also any plates or utensils - they only have the tables/seating & the entertainment!

Crossfire Does It Again!…read more Crossfire gets better and better every time I visit. They rebuilt after the hurricane, a beautiful new interior for paintball and nerf. After COVID, they added GellyBall. And now, AXE THROWING! I had never thrown axes before and it was easy to get the hang of enough to have fun. Also, the computer projects different games onto the wooden target so you never get bored. I went with just one other person but this would be a blast for a group - co-workers, friends, bachelor/bachelorette party, school organization, fraternity/sorority outing. No limits.

The Little Gym had been recommended to us, so we tried an intro class. Upon arriving, we were greeted by a few friendly people. My partner and I looked at the gym space and wanted to play on it ourselves - it looked so fun! The class itself was well-structured without being overly scheduled. There were a series of activities along with some free play and some offered "spotting" from the instructor. The instructor had such positive, encouraging energy. We tried things with our little guy that we wouldn't have thought of before, like a supported front flip and back flip. He got to play with bubbles and play on some equipment that he really enjoyed. I really, really appreciated after class that we were walked through the membership program BUT not pushed with a hard sell. At this point we've decided that the cost is higher than we're willing to do for now. We don't anticipate raising an olympic gymnast, so the idea of spending over $1,200 a year on classes for our baby is more than we want to do when he's so little. But once he gets a little older, I think a membership is in our future.

This place is functional as an indoor soccer field, and Janine (the owner and operator) has created an athletic environment for adults and children which is great. The field/play. I won't say much about the carpet since it will be replaced, but you CANNOT wear anything with studs. So no out door cleats for sure; recommend futsol shoes if you can. Christmas will come with gifts of new turf. It will not have the rubber under it, but it will definitely be a HUGE step up. I believe once this happens, I will consider upping this review to 4 stars. The field has this "arc" that is approximately 10' from the goal which is different than anything I have ever played. Actually, that is why I am dropping a star. The rule does not allow ANYONE to go into the arc (similar to hand ball). The goalie cannot come outside of the arc unless one foot is in or jumps out; this is just UN-NATURAL! I have been playing for 27 years and I cost us two penalty kicks because I was in the arc when I was trying to stop the ball. I think it is just over thinking injuries and trying to be too protective of the keeper. However, if a defender was allowed to actually put the goal to his back, he can protect the goalie more...I just want everyone to know, it is very different and I don't like it. Moreover, one sideline has a wall (12' highish) and the side closest to the stands has a net...I have never played in a place where the net is INBOUNDS?!?!? I know it is expensive, but I would recommend plexiglass. The ball is a sudo nerf ball...When I asked Janine why, she said that it is easier on the goalies since they get hit so much (THIS IS BECAUSE DEFENDERS CANNOT BE IN THE WAY OF THE SHOT DUE TO THE ARC or the goalie cannot come out!!!). Lastly, people do not wear shin guards, although you can if you want. Leagues: Seems there are three divisions and I believe she said there are 28 teams this season? 10 games and each team costs $400. Skill levels vary, but the games are 5v5, so most people run a 1-2-1 or a 2-2 formation. Subs are on the fly and D3 didn't have to much aggressiveness (I saw 3 games). Our game was at 830pm, but I believe D3 plays on Wednesdays from 730-1030 pm. D1 is Mon...D2 Tues... The facility can host birthday parties and has a large stands area for the size of the warehouse...I guess people have been playing pick up at this location for 10 years or so and it use to be a lot smaller. They also have after school kids activities. I read the flyer and was pretty impressed with their commitment to kids. Recommendations: 1-Change the turf...2-get rid of the ARC and let us play normal indoor soccer....2-put plexiglass up...4-see if we can add another field...5-play with a real soccer ball.
