The coaches and staff are knowledgeable and experts in their field. They are super helpful and always there to encourage and willing to go to extra lengths to work with anyone on improving their fitness, exercise proficiency, and establishing goals. More importantly, they are welcoming, friendly, and always get everyone motivated to make every workout energetic, challenging and fun. We feel like they are family and look forward to seeing them and working out with them throughout each week. The other secret ingredient to CrossFit Northland is the members themselves. They come from all types of backgrounds and ages, and their proficiency/fitness levels range from beginners to professional athletes. They are all friendly and welcoming and do their share of encouraging and motivating too. We have made many friends among the other members, and value them as family too. Everyone feels like they belong, and there is a strong sense of community. Everybody encourages each other. No intimidation or judging - everybody (coaches included) is just glad you are there and getting after it, no matter what the level of your fitness or proficiency. My wife and I have always embraced fitness as an integral part of our lifestyle. We have always belonged to gyms or worked out on our own and enjoy being active and are relatively new to CrossFit. We both feel like the atmosphere at CFN created by the coaches, staff and members has been a significantly positive improvement in our lives. When it was time to move on, I put in my 30 days notice (Which by the way, they make it very hard to cancel because you have to get in contact with the manager, which she took over a week to get back to me, before you can even start your thirty day notice), yet when the 30 days were up, they continued to charge me and the manager refused to return my calls. I had to show up to a time she taught just to get any communication. I then had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Suprise, Suprise, the company then sent the exit contract but conveniently left out the page stipulating the date that I was no longer contractually obligated to pay. I had to then send the full contract to my credit card company, and then it was final resolved. This took me three months to get resolved. The manager switched every few months which is the real problem (I had at least four mangers over my time). It's a shame because the coaches are very nice. I would not recommend this experience and will not be returning to any f45 again.

I did tons of research on Crossfit Boxes in the area and wanted to make sure I found one that fit where I am at in my Crossfit journey. I am so glad I decided on KCI. I spent the whole month just at this one! First of all, everyone from the coaches to the other athletes could not have been more welcoming. From the first visit, Nick made me feel right at home. All the coaches were absolutely stellar and even helped me hit a new deadlift PR (255lb!). I truly felt like I had been coming here for months. I'm only 5 months in with this whole Crossfit thing and KCI made me feel so welcome. Huge shout out to Lance, Teresa, guy that looks like Clark Kent, and of course Doug.
