His patience, willingness to "re-teach" bad habits, encouragement, and sound advice (after much of my whining) was a definitely a push in the right direction. He helped me get to the point where I even competed in my first bodybuilding competition. A glutton for *ahem* punishment, I am looking to him again to compete in my next competition. Pete's style of training and Sherry's Saturday Morning Bootcamp are the tickets to push me that much further. D'shawn, Peter, and the rest of the crew are amazing and very supportive and very happy I have found a new place to call home. They are not just a gym but a movement!

They employ coaches who genuinely want to see you reach your best, and understand everyone has their own fitness level. I've worked out most of my life, but I've never seen the results I gotten from working out here. There are 4 different rooms where they hold classes, open gym and some additional classes. They offer different class time each day, and include open gym time for those who want to work on their personal programs. They post the daily WOD on the website, along with the schedule. Each class is scheduled for an hour and is broken into phases. First, there is a warm-up and stretch phase. Second, there is a strength phase which normally consist of the current strength cycle. Lastly, there is the expected WOD. There are different Crossfit workouts daily. I was a member for a year, and don't remember repeating many WODs. There is also a F.I.T. class, which is a hybrid of Crossfit and HIIT training. Mostly women attend these classes. However, it definitely isn't "weaker" workout. It just has a different focus of training. Think of a Crossfit WOD consisting of lighter weight, more reps, and fewer rest periods. I used to try to fit in an a F.I.T class, so I can improve my cardio and muscle endurance. There is a lot more I can say, but this post is getting long lol. If my work schedule didn't change, I would still be a member of the gym. The gym is always evolving. Dawn and Jim are always looking for ways to improve the experience it's members.

Shoutout to Chris Ullom, the head trainer. Even while I was away at school and not paying gym dues he would still give me advice on different gym topics - things like that have made me a Wareing's lifer. Also, very pleased the gym rolled out extended hours. About time! Closing at 2pm on a Sunday was ridiculous.

This facility has brand new equipment and a great location (close to Busch Gardens) to boot. Another great factor is the safety. They are right around the corner from a police precinct. This helps keep some of the creeps away. The staff - exceptionally friendly and very knowledgeable. The approach they give to customers is just top notch. If you're on the fence with crossfit or are looking into achieving that next level of fitness, come here - you won't be disappointed.

The instructors are excellent, enthusiastic and are able to challenge the members without being overbearing. The gym itself is small, but big enough for the intended purposes and the equipment is all in good shape. The classes are variable enough that you never get bored, but consistent enough that you know you will get a great full-body workout every time. Besides all that, the members are very welcoming and the gym has a great community feel. Highly recommended!

They have just about anything here! They have tons of rooms with various equipment. They have free…read moreweight sections, machines, a little "lounge" area with sofas, a basketball court, a warrior course, a big turf area, a sauna, yoga/dance room, child/parent workout room, racquetball courts, combatives room, spin cycle room. The staff is also usually super friendly especially in the mornings! It does tend to get quite busy as everyone gets off of work so as long as you avoid that time you should get a chill workout in. They have a few classes that they offer here like CrossFit. I will say the bathrooms aren't always the cleanest so I don't know if I would recommend showering here. They have bathrooms when you walk in and then they have locker rooms by the basketball court and more as you walk into the gym. They also have separate locker rooms for senior officers. They have certain hours where everyone is allowed in but after that they do 24 hour passes. Just go and talk to the staff about it and bring your CAC and they will give you a 24 hour swipe card to get into the gym after hours! EDIT: At the moment the 24 hour gym door is broken which is really unfortunate so they aren't doing that anymore, you have to go during hours and Saturdays+Sundays are closed now too. One downside is that they don't have a pool.

No pool here anymore so if you want to swim you'll have to go to the main gym. Also, no snack bar so the main gym is where it's at for delicious smoothies after a workout. I happen to be partial to Alex (my amazing trainer) but everyone of the trainers and staff are extremely warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. I was impressed to learn there are no "beginner" trainers here. They each have a background in fitness and are experienced and educated in their field. They take clients at all ages and levels of fitness, but if you're just starting out, like me, this is the place to come. There is absolutely no judgement or reason to be self conscious. They take you "as is" and are eager to craft a personalized workout, according to your goals, history, abilities and any health concerns your dealing with. They take the time to understand your unique needs and abilities. I love how Alex is able to explain the mechanics of a movement and that he's very focused on correct form, in order to get the most out of an exercise and avoid injury. He makes my workouts challenging, but also reigns me in when I get too eager to take on more than I'm ready for. Another plus that impressed me is the effort they make to take care of clients practical needs- showers, towels, soaps, shampoo, etc. They've even offered a stretch lab and a sound bath experience since I've been here, free to clients, both of which I really enjoyed. I'm not getting any younger lol and wanted to enjoy my retirement and be around to see my grandchildren grow up. I immediately felt at ease and welcome there. The one on one personal training in private rooms is a perfect fit for me. I train with Jaron, and I cannot say enough good things about him. He is thoughtful with my training program, adjusting as needed to suit my needs and goals while keeping it challenging.
