This gym is super small. So small that putting plates on the military press Hammer strength type machine is a contortionist move. They only have one preacher bench, and one curl bar but s variety of other machines. A small room with dumbbells and four adjustable benches, a smiths machine, a squat rack, one incline and two regular benches. Several treadmills, three stationary bikes sardined into a small space. Obviously no pool, or sauna, juice bar etc. They have change rooms, clean showers lockers. Bring your own lock, towel etc. Overall a good place to work out and away from home and maintain. I never found it super crowded. Front desk people speak English and are friendly enough. The gym is mostly full of locals and some international university exchange students. No meat heads benching four plates.

There are more choreographic and challenging classes than at all the other gyms in Florence, which is what motivated my choice. Membership levels are flexible, so if you know what you want (ie. pool or not, certain types of classes, access times etc), you can get a price that is tailored to your exact needs. There are periodic specials that keep the prices down even more. The gym area itself tends on the stinky and humid, and the bathrooms are clean but again very humid, however the atmosphere and people are great!

Coach Cosimo paid careful attention to all the participants & offered correction or kudos throughout he workout. It is smaller, so I'd recommend contacting them before doing a drop-in, especially for the early or later classes. You can do so via Facebook, Instagram, phone call, email, etc. The class was great and worthy of your drop-in time if in Firenze. A few notes about the facility. First, if you're driving, there's paid meter parking on the street or, if it's not busy, a parking garage for the gym. Also, the "host" gym, Klab, has a full fitness facility in the back, CrossFit in a separate area off the cafeteria and full locker rooms, sitting area, WiFi, etc. If you're into buying shirts (as per the standard CrossFit procedure) you can ask at the front desk.
