From the first time I walked in I felt a sense of community and was welcomed warmly by not only the staff but other members! The coaches push you to be the best version of yourself, aim to help keep you healthy and motivated in every class and are not afraid to correct you if your form is off. Which is great because they don't want you hurting yourself. I can definitely see myself continuing to be a member for as long as I can and over the last few months have already noticed a difference in myself and what I am capable of. Plus being more toned, getting better sleep and wanting to eat healthier are just perks of working out daily I have also noticed! Thank you Orangetheory for being a great place to work out!

This review is for the Sanford, Florida location (STAY AWAY):…read more I did their intro class, signed up, was told my card was declined, and that my membership wasn't active, didn't make any sense as their was plenty of balance available; nevertheless, was told multiple times. Well a week later, the charges go through, but not a single member of their team called me to ask when I want to schedule my next class, or even let me know that my membership was activated. Well once it was processed, no one followed up with me to see which classes I would like to join, instead they billed me for three months straight. When I had finally noticed and called, stating I had never attended a single class, the manager (Chris) told me that because I signed an agreement, that nothing can be done. Not a penny can be refunded or any credit be applied to future months because I signed an agreement-though I was told at the time the agreement is not valid (lack of payment). So in other words, they seem to be very courteous and friendly during the intro class; however, after you've signed an agreement, it's a whole another story. They don't seem to remember telling me that my membership was not good Bc of lack of payment; however, once it processed, they never let me know, instead just billed me. I had to call myself to confirm the details and anyone I spoke to gave no concern at all (Jesse and Chris). The instructor (Prentice), the general manager (Chris), and the girl who signed me up (Katelyn), not one person made a single form of contact for three months to let me know I had an active membership. They simply mentioned they would pass it along and emailed me the information for the owner (Bill)-whom has yet to respond. I will be escalating this further on my own, but I think the world should know how this place actually operates. **WOULD HIGHLY ADVISE TO STAY AWAY FROM A BUSINESS WITH SUCH DECEPTIVE PRACTICES**

I've been attending this location for over a month now and I was very skeptical at first. Why?…read moreBecause I've never been dedicated to a work out routine more than 6 weeks in my life, by myself. The whole system of accountability in the Orange Theory App, the classes you sign up for, the coaches, and most importantly.....myself. Great location, the staff is friendly, from the front desk people to the Coaches. I've never had a bad experience here. I've only had great moments. So far, I've worked out with some great coaches: Chris, Joseph, and Jess. There's no particular order of favorites but I will say, my top coach has the best playlist. Other than that, with every coach I've worked out with, they are informational and they know what they're doing! So yes, the staff is friendly, motivational and knowledgeable. Timeliness and organized, I can only talk about this location, I've never been to any other OT gym, but they are very timely and organized which helps me out a bunch! I don't need to plan my workouts or time them, I just need to make sure I put something in my stomach for a pre-workout, drink water and show up! It just makes things so much easier for me. You may have to pay higher than what you normally pay at a normal gym, but it's all worth it. Do I see results? Yes, I do. I see my body changes, I see my heart changes for the better and overall health has improved. I see myself attending classes at least 3 times a week. OT makes things simple and this location is just a great place to be.

My wife decided to try Esporta out to see if she enjoys it. Membership is $30 a month, and she can…read morebring up to 3-guests per visit. I have only visited a handful of times, and so far, the gym has been good overall. I enjoy that there is more free-weight equipment when compared to Planet Fitness in Lake Mary, which has none other than dumbbells. It has been years since I have used a free-weight squat rack, straight bar bench press, military press, and now that I have access to it again, it has made all the difference in the world for building muscle. Esporta amenities include: a lap-style swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, large hardwood floor studio, spinning room, a two-hoop basketball court, a battle rope workout area, a push-sled area, kettle bells, multiple ellipticals, treadmills, and plenty of Life Fitness equipment for every workout you can imagine. Esporta also offers anywhere between 18-20 interactive classes weekly, such as Zumba, Body Works, Cycle/Spinning, and Boot Camp Conditioning. There is a Kids Zone area where parents can let the children play in a safe location while they get their workout in. The locker rooms, restrooms, shower are actually beautiful and well kept. Note: if you are looking for the sauna, pool, and jacuzzi, you need to walk through the locker/restroom area to get to them. Also be sure to bring your own towel as the gym does not provide them. I have not dealt with the staff too much, but the team members I have encountered have been very nice. For those who like to wipe down and sanitize equipment before and after using machines, Esporta staff provides spray bottles you can take with you while you work out. I love this option since I am a bit of a clean freak. There are paper towel dispensers, equipment sanitizing solution and hand sanitizer located throughout the gym should you need it. My wife says the staff are continuously wiping down equipment; however, I see more wipe downs happening at Planet Fitness, and they have a lot less staff. Another great feature of this facility is the drinking fountains. There are two options, the traditional and the traditional plus bottle filling. I have not had an issue with either option so far, and the staff keeps this equipment sanitary. My only complaints so far are: - This is no fault of the gym but Members can be pigs here; people, please pick up after yourself! During my workout today, I picked up at least 10 different wads of paper towels members left on the floor or one of the machines. I also picked up several half bottles of water left on the floor. Members are also leaving wads of used paper towels on the bathroom sinks; why? The trash is right there; your mama does not work here! - As other Yelper noted, the music can be too loud. I don't mind background music, but the volume fluctuates between visits. It can be distracting at times especially when listening to my own music. - The Machines are a bit old, and that is ok; however, please schedule a PM tech to lubricate the moving parts on this equipment. I see a lot of rust, and some of the levers are jamming, making it difficult to adjust. All-in-all Esporta Fitness is a good gym with equipment that suites my needs; if you live in the area, I recommend checking them out.

Great news! If you're joining LA Fitness in Sanford,FL, don't forget to bring your own locker…read morecamera--apparently, that's the new standard for protecting your belongings here. My shoes were stolen right out of a locked locker, and instead of fixing the issue, it seems the unofficial solution is: "Just install your own surveillance system!" Genius, right? Because clearly it's the members' job to handle security--not the gym's. 5 stars for creativity, 0 for actual security.
