First, I want to start off by saying that I loved my time at Crossfit Rocky. I am writing my review based on why my time there ended. The owner's wife who is never even seen at this box, gets her personal life way too involved with the business of Crossfit Rocky. Her marital problems should not be taken out on female athletes that attend this gym. I am extremely hurt that I cannot be apart of this amazing community anymore per the owner's wife request. She claims that I have had inappropriate communication with her husband over Facebook, which could not be farther from the truth, the latest conversation I had with him was him asking when I returned form vacation so my "butt could be whipped back into shape"... A fellow female athlete and I both wrote her in a very polite, professional manner asking how we could resolve this issue to keep attending CFR but our plea was only responded with haste.
On a positive note, Coach Jeff & Chad are phenomenal and I cannot say enough about their professionalism and motivational coaching.
If you decide to checkout CFR, you will not be disappointed with their coaching. However, just be warned about any and all conversations that take place. Go there, work out and go home. read more
