From day one, the coaches and members have been incredibly welcoming, encouraging, and genuinely friendly. After just a few sessions, I stopped feeling self-conscious and actually started looking forward to going. The environment is supportive and judgment-free, which makes such a difference when you're getting back into fitness. What I really appreciate is that they truly meet you where you are. Whether you're a complete beginner like I was or an experienced athlete, the coaches tailor everything so you can succeed at your own pace. At this particular one there is no basketball court. There is a 3 mile track which passes all the other gyms on this base. Inside you will find all the equipment you need to get in a full workout be it cardio, weightlifting, and the classes offered. There is also a juice/coffee bar inside near the entrance in case you need a pick me up before or after your workout. I will say if you are a treadmill runner pick your equipment carefully as plenty of the treadmills are wobbly and have plenty of give that can result in injury.

But I wondered, is it worth the fact that it's free? Let me assure you, it is. You walk in to find cardio, and upper body machines (as well as a ping pong table). To the right are two basketball courts and free weights room. Straight ahead are the locker rooms. And upstairs, indoor running/walking track as well as more machines. It is clean, kept up, and offers a good variety of equipment. I also am glad for the option of trading my ID in for a locker key while I'm there. *Insider's Tip -The bike machines have a water bottle holder as well as a dock for phone/other devices. -There is a water bottle fill up station by the stair case. -They offer yoga and a host of other classes throughout the week (and at various times). I have been working out with Zach for one year. My first three months I worked out twice a week; the last nine months I work out three times a week.
