I absolutely loved this place! The one bit of criticism I have doesn't even bring down the rating…read more As others have mentioned, it's quiet and has a very comfy ambience. There were a lot of people while we were there, so we didn't get to hang out with a few of the cats, but I'm glad they were being entertained enough by the other people~ All those sweethearts deserve the love. The food options weren't like a "traditional cafe" in the way that everything other than the coffee was prepackaged. There were some absolutely adorable cat shaped cookies that looked great! They had many other options on snacks too. The workers there were nice and cared about the cats a lot. Now for my one downside: trying to adopt. The cat we really liked was already going home with someone else. It was kind of hard to not be at least a little sad that this very affectionate kitty wasn't coming home with us, but that's just how it goes I guess. I wish places like this would have some way to identify which pets were already spoken for. There wasn't really any way upfront to tell other than finding a worker and asking. Maybe they could receive a temporary collar? Again, this doesn't ruin the experience and I would still highly recommend a visit! But if you want to adopt any of the cats, maybe let the employees know when you walk in.

Whether you're looking to adopt or you just want to spend some time with felines, this is the place to do it. I think the cost was $12 for an hour visit. You get to hang out with their cats in a nice air conditioned room full of comfy furniture and some cat toys if you wish to play with the energetic kittens running around. They also have a good mix of both young and more mature cats at the cafe. Prior to entering you're also given the choice to purchase some drinks or snacks that are already pre-packaged. They have some cute cat themed merchandise in their store as well! Highly recommend Catfeine cat cafe! I had a great experience. Unfortunately someone already had an application in for the kitten my husband and I wanted but we still had a good time playing with the kitties there.

This may be my new favorite coffee shop in Nashville. It is SO hard to find a spot in Music City…read morewith excellent vibes, plenty of space to spread out, AND good coffee. Some of my go-to's only have two of the three ... but The Loading Dock checks all of my boxes AND they have a food menu plus free parking?!? I think it's this remote girlie's dream come true. I met a friend here for some Monday co-working, and ordered their new chicken salad sandwich along with a cold brew. The chicken salad was delicious - on the sweet side but full of flavor, and served on a yummy croissant with lettuce and tomato. I'd happily order this again. I got my cold brew with an extra shot of espresso, and some maple and brown sugar cold foam, which was tasty too! I've sadly had too much weak cold brew recently, but TLD's does not fall into that category at all. My friend tried their seasonal Strawberry Fields matcha, which looked so pretty! I am already planning a trip back to TLD soon. I wouldn't say this is a hidden gem per se, since it seems like plenty of folks know about this great little shop. However, I am sure there are Nashville transplants like myself who have called the city home for years and haven't explored much of this neighborhood yet ... and to that I say, what are you waiting for?

There is plenty of free parking too, which is a bonus in Nashville. I ordered the Turkey, Bacon and Avocado sandwich and upgraded from the chips to a side salad. The sandwich was pressed panini-style and was loaded with perfectly crispy bacon. So good. The atmosphere is cozy. The staff is super friendly. I can't wait to try out breakfast!
