    Madpie: Pumpkin and Latte

This is by far one of my favorite coffee shops in the Madison/East Nashville area. Everything is made to order and tastes amazing! Even when busy that staff is kind and serves with a smile. There are plenty of seats to works from, whether alone or in a group.

16oz iced latte with raspberry and vanilla, 20oz iced latte with 2 pumps maple. No ice???

The coffee is good! I really enjoy my vanilla and raspberry iced latte, the maple latte is VERY strong with hardly any maple or sweetness but the coffee is still a good flavor and not too bitter or acidic. The pastries leave a bit to be desired, they're 90% puff pastry with hardly any filling, the chocolate croissant isn't really a croissant. The flavors aren't bad, and the texture is great, they're just really lacking. Also we ordered delivery and the drinks didn't come with ice? This wasn't specified anywhere and we didn't request it, it prevents the drinks from getting watered down but if we didn't have access to our own ice I would've been super disappointed, so I just wish this was atleast advertised upfront. it wasn't a bad experience but we'll definitely be trying out other places in the area before returning.

I love visiting various coffee shops around Nashville while I have some work to get done. Madtown Coffee is good for doing just that! The coffee is great, the service is great, and the baked goods are out of this world - not to mention the ambiance and cute décor, like the Scrabble tile menu board. Have been here a couple of times now and will be back!

Met up for some coffee and pastries in anticipation of a snow storm. This place was cozy and warm. Only complaint is the use of paper cups when dining in, when it wouldn't hurt to serve a hot beverage in a ceramic mug. My pastry was warmed up but a little cold in the middle. Service was good though. Music was playing and allowed for a chill atmosphere. Art posted on the wall was pretty cool. Two were of Jeffery Epstein, it's fair to offer a trigger alert if you're like me. I understand that art is being sold but it's a fair review of the place that it was slightly deterring over coffee. Plan on coming back for more because the raspberry cream cheese pastry was yum.

‍ Best breakfast wraps ever I'm visiting nashville, and I have been here twice in less than a week! The breakfast wraps (the tomato wrap) is so freaking good! Coffee is also great and the staff are stellar. This a great community space, and they also have an open mic night and trivia night. They have 4 outdoor dining tables with a bunch of seating inside. Very welcoming space for LGBTQ+ folks!

As a barista this coffee is legit! I got an oat milk latte and my fiancé got a cortado. Both were very good. The customer service was also phenomenal considering we showed up as soon as the doors opened. If you are in need of some good local coffee definitely try this place!!

Friends and I stopped by after just moving to Nashville last week and I think we found our go-to coffee spot! We all loved our food and gave it a 10/10. There are many coffee options, even smoothies, and a big food selection. Barista was friendly and very helpful with our decision-making process, which also turned out to be great recommendations. A very comfy environment. I would come here to do office work or even read a book while sipping coffee.

Such a great find! I take my daughter to the next door library all the time and when I showed up extra early, this was such a perfect treat! Lots of space to work or visit with friends, kid friendly with lots of fun board games, had vegan options which is LIFE for us with a kiddo with an egg allergy. Will be be back soon!

They have plenty of seating. I should also mention that their menu is so good it left me torn on what to order. Despite the crowd and influx of orders, I thought the service was fast. The team works like sandwich ninjas, slicing meat and slathering spread, which was fun to watch. I ordered 'The Veggie,' while my husband got 'La Paradiso.' The focaccia tasted extremely fresh: crusty on the outside with a prominent flavor of EVOO, and soft on the inside. A very well-rested dough, I'd assume! As delicious as the bread was, the eggplant, stracciatella, and pistachio cream were out of this world. Oh my god, just heavenly! The size is ginormous; I split it into lunch and dinner. Considering the quality and sourcing of these ingredients, along with the fact that it covered two meals for me, I felt these sandwiches were quite economical. I have a long way to go before I try all their sandwiches

All three people behind the counter greeted me enthusiastically and with big smiles when I walked in. I perused the menu and opted for La Toscana. While I was waiting, I was enticed by the beautiful display of delicious and fresh ingredients in the display case. Every sandwich is made to order, but they worked very quickly so I didn't have to wait long. Overall the sandwich was excellent. In particular the Truffle Honey really took it over the top in terms of great flavors. I did feel that the focaccia was a bit too crispy, at least to my taste. I'm not sure if this was a one-off issue or if this is how they always make the bread. I would have preferred the focaccia to be quite a bit softer, but maybe that's just my personal preference. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, but it was a very hot day so I stayed inside with the air conditioning. The place is really clean with some nice decor. The experience was really good, and I would certainly recommend this as a great sandwich shop with excellent Italian ingredients. I'll just hope for softer focaccia next time.

The sweet pickles on it really made the sandwich stand out and gave it an awesome flavor. The atmosphere was really cool and felt very authentic. They also have a grocery section where you can buy authentic Italian sauces, pasta noodles, and other items, which was a nice touch. The only thing that surprised us was the fountain drinks being $5 each, but they do come in a souvenir cup. If you're looking for an amazing sub sandwich, I highly recommend Little Hats. The food was fantastic, the staff was friendly, and Germantown itself is a great area to walk around and explore. There are tons of cool places nearby. I've been wanting to write this review because Chef's Market deserves so much more than five stars…read more My family and I have been coming here for years. We've celebrated family dinners, hosted business meetings, and made countless memories around your tables. Even after moving out of state more than 10 years ago, every single time I come back to Tennessee, my dad and bonus mom know that one stop is non-negotiable--we're going to Chef's Market. The food is incredible, and the cakes are worth the trip all by themselves. A few weeks ago, though, Chef's Market became so much more than a favorite restaurant. I got a call that my bonus mom had become very sick, and I rushed home to help care for my family. One day I stopped in to grab lunch and, of course, one of your amazing cakes to take back to the house. I was holding it together...until I wasn't. When the sweet lady behind the bakery counter asked which cake I wanted, all of the fear, exhaustion, uncertainty, and heartbreak I'd been carrying came pouring out. I couldn't stop crying. Without hesitation, she set the cake down, walked around the counter, and wrapped me in the biggest, most genuine hug. Not the kind of hug you give because you feel obligated--but the kind that says, "You're not alone." Then she prayed with me. A complete stranger saw my pain, held me tight, and promised she would continue praying for my family. As I sit in the hospital weeks later, I still think about that moment. I remember her kindness, her compassion, her gentle spirit, and the love she showed someone she had never met before. That hug meant more than she'll probably ever know. Chef's Market isn't just a restaurant with incredible food and the best cakes around. It's a place that feels like home. It's where my family has made years of memories, and now it's also the place where I was reminded that kindness still exists in this world. Thank you for feeding people in more ways than one. Thank you for caring. Thank you for reminding me that a simple act of compassion can carry someone through one of the hardest days of their life. You truly never know what someone is walking through.
